SUMMARY
Five steps for accurate XRF analysis
1. Crude oil sample is shaken and left to stand for 30 minutes
2. Sample taken from top one third of sample container
3. Accurately weigh the Zirconium Octoate then add crude oil sample
4. Shake sample mixture for 30 seconds. Note: Thorough mixing is a CRITICAL step to ensure accuracy of analysis
5. Pour prepared sample into sample holder and place into XRF analyser
