What else would you buy for $1.6k?
@Sole Hacks Practically a full gym, if you do it right! 😂
FYI seems they have fixed the pulley issue. I bought mine in Sept 2021, received it in Dec 2021, and it isn't an issue on mine
What was changed? I have two of them and am willing to mod it myself if Titan can’t send parts.
@@gymreviewer I'm not entirely sure but here is my guess:
The holes on the side plates (where the pulleys screw into) are likely a little closer together so there's no gap between the two pulleys. That or maybe they're using a thicker pulley cable?
You could try asking Titan to send you two of the side plates because of the issue you're having
Will definitely have to do that! Thank you Michael!
Why did you not send back the Titan rowing machine if it is flawed? Why purchase two flawed machines?
Great question, the reason for not returning it is two fold:
1) The Titan Fitness Lat Machine is often nearly half the price of the Sorinex and Rogue options….
2) Assembly of this machine is arduous and takes a long time. To disassemble and repackage plus working with titan to ship it back (not to mention potentially having to pay for the freight shipment) would all deem it unreasonable for shipping back the first one.
After assembling the first one, using and testing it for quite some time, I was satisfied enough with it to make the second purchase.
The flaw with the lower pulley I will eventually fix by drilling a hole to ensure the pulleys sit closer together, altogether eliminating the ability for the cable to slip out and cause the row machine to not function.
In the case that the foot pad and set become very damaged and uncomfortable, I will replace and reupholster them with more premium level padding and leather/ synthetic leather covers.
Hope that helps explain why I ended up buying a somewhat flawed product!

I wonder how could I move .y lat pull down to the other side of garage? I really don't wanna take it apart but maybe Iam gonna have too😳
The easiest way to move it (from my experience) is to simply leave everything connected but remove all the plates from the weight stack.
To do this, you must remove the upper bracket that holds the two silver rods, keep the silver rods in place (at the base of the rack), and slide the weight plates off one by one (carefully).
Feel free to shoot any questions my way,
GR
Mine came missing several bolts and only one leg pad. They sent the bolts quickly but still no leg pad
Crazy, that is something that can unfortunately happen with Titan (especially on their imported products!)
I would keep emailing them until they get it right. Things like this shouldn’t be happening on brands like Titan (five years ago mistakes like this was the standard for Titan and gave them a bad reputation). Hopefully they’ll resolve it quickly for you. If I were them, I’md even give you credits for your trouble and time wasted on this. Best of luck!
I'd get this any day over a $3,000 Lat Tower
Agreed
Yeah! $3k on one machine for a home gym is a tough pill to swallow!
What's the diameter of the wheel pulley on it ? thank
Sorry, difficult time accessing the pulley because our Lat Tower is currently in storage… anyone else have an idea so we can help Mateo out?
Having an issue with lower wights and the middle rod hitting the top of the weight stack
That is an annoying issue that I’ve also had! After you’ve made sure that all your nuts and bolts are tight and centered, I’d consider if your rack is on a slope (and tilted to either one side or the other).
The next thing you can do is take a 2.5lb weight plate and put it on the opposite side of the 10lb option (to balance out the situation).
These things have helped me pretty well. Let me know what you think!
If they won't fix yours, I would rat file the top bully holes lower and the bottom bully holes higher to close the gap. Use larger washers to cover the extra gap you made
Thanks for saving me the time of sending an email over to Titan! Looks like I’ll have to do that 🙌🏼
I'm placing my order in the next two weeks just waiting for an exact shipping date
Awesome! I’m pretty satisfied with ours, outside of the few problems mentioned.
@@gymreviewer just had mine delivered today. Got it unboxed and made sure everything was there before I start putting it together this week, it's definitely well made the only plastic on it is the endcaps on the thigh pads.
Right on!!!!
I wonder why mine are coded with different colors. Yours are all yellow
Interesting! What colors are yours and when did you buy your Titan Lat Pulldown Machine? It would be interesting to see which of us has the updated version 😎
@@gymreviewer I just bought mine. I think they arw green, yellow and red, acne updated version??
I think they should fix that bottom pulley problem for free...
From your mouth to my garage gym! 😂
If you search on youtube, another reviewer was able to fix the issue by redrilling the lower pulley hole.
Fantastic, will do! Thank you Scott 🙌🏼
Hard to watch. Get a mic that works.
Thanks for the feedback! It looks like the problem has been fixed. 👍🏼
Nice machine a nightmare to assemble so be prepared to curse alot
Haha, it is a pain to assemble! Part of the low shipping cost comes at the high cost of time. Took me a few hours (I’ve now assembled and disassembled two of these)… but would you rather pay the extra $1,000-$3,000 for the Rogue/ Sorinex option?! 😉
@@gymreviewer
True....but never ever thought about that kinda aggravation....and now the foot plate for back rows down fit....very very tight....next problem....yet nice machine
@@wolfsden3812 Sorry to hear that! Definitely something that bugs me about some of their products, it feels like every item you get has a different problem ... looking forward to a piece of equipment that just comes to my door perfect, from the factory.
@@gymreviewer
Nothing is 100% thats were profanity kicks in lol yet the machine provides diverse exercises at home you normally can't do with just dumbells and that just fuels the fire....thats what lifting is all about
I actually found it very easy to assemble. Took me about 3 hours total and that includes unboxing
Pay once cry once don’t by Titan
Lol, agreed but this Lat Tower is actually fairly decent for the price. Probably one of Titan Fitness’s most decent pieces. With that, it’s a tough call… $3k or more is a lot of dough for a home gym owner simply wanting a lat tower/ low row.
