Here comes the king of 70s music Mr. R.D. Burman. He came to prominance in the late 60s and ruled the 70s and 80s. The combination of R.D. Burman, Kishore Kumar and Rajesh khanna was extremely successful and measurement for film success. His father S.D. Burman was also a great music composer. R.D. Burman later also became the voice of Amitabh Bachchan in the 80s in films like Pukar, Mahaan among many others. Can't wait for the episode.

There was none to scrutiny, understand the depth and mark numbers on Panchamda. They're not so educated. But even after 30 years of his demise, still audience are remembering and listening 🎶. Hats off Panchamda.
Likes of RD Burman our Pancham Da takes birth only once in all times, such a genious composer, arranger, musician, innovator Pancham Da was which can't be expressed in words,he nurtured the musicians and percussionists and took best out of them, his tune making and crafting background music and new instruments of music is par excellence, his sound management and usage of chorus are delight to listen, his creative pursuits were so that people addicted to his songs and background music, he had best musicians in his stead..

It is indeed surprising that Filmfare never found music of Teesri Manzil, Kati Patang, Amar Prem, Yaadon Ki Baraat, Hum Kisise Kum Nahin, Carvan, Aandhi, Parichay worthy of Best Music awards.
The irony is that, the same magazine had to start an award in the name of Panchamda, that is R.D.Burman music award.
Secondly, Subhash Ghai, that over rated, mediocre director was responsible for the heart attack Panchamda suffered due to his sudden expulsion from "Ram Lakhan", (the fifth rate version of classic "Deewaar")
In my opinion, R.D.Burman was, is & will be far far above of such mediocre, filmy directors & stupid awards like Filmfare.

In addition, the last film of RD BURMAN saab was GHATAK in 1996... And the amazing thing was film mein ek hi romantic song tha NIGAHON NE CHHERHA HAI DIL KA TTRAANA, aur it was so beautiful. 2nd song was a cabaret song BADAN MAIN CHANDNI, situationally it was so fit for the film.

@@rakeshsadeo Before all the events, sankarabharam rejection was a big disappointment and shocked Panchamda. It depressed more than anything.
जूनियर बर्मन यानि पंचम मेरे पसंदीदा संगीतकारों की फेहरिस्त में बहुत ऊपर और सम्मानित स्थान पर शामिल हैं इसीलिए नहीं कि वे कुछ अलग हटकर हमेशा संगीत में नये नये प्रयोग किये ,जरा याद करें उन्होंने आशा भोंसले के मूड के गाने लता जी से गवाकर एक नयापन लाने का प्रयास किया मसलन चुनरी संभाल गोरी =बहारों के सपने,
2 कांटा लगा हाय लगा =समाधि
3 बाहों में चले आ =अनामिका
इसके विपरीत फिल्म समाधि में लता जी के मूड का गीत जब तक रहे तन में जिया
और 1984 की फिल्म सनी में और क्या अहदे वफा होते हैं। ये गीत भी लता जी के मूड का है पर आशा जी से गवाया गया था।
ये कुछ ऐसे उदाहरण हैं जो राहुल को अन्य संगीतकारों से अलग ही एक विशेष स्थान प्रदान करते हैं मुझे याद है सलिल दा ने एक बार कहा था कि पंचम हमेशा कुछ नया प्रयोग करने को उत्सुक रहता है इसीलिए मैं उसे यानि पंचम को पसंद करता हूं सलिल चौधरी किसी भी शख्स की जल्दी तारीफ नहीं करते थे ।
राहुल के संगीत की मधुरता उनकी आखिरी फिल्म 1942 अ लव स्टोरी में अपने चरम पर थी ,उस दौर में द्विअर्थी गीत और कानफोड़ू संगीत अपने पूरे शबाब पर था उस दौर में ऐसे कर्ण प्रिय गीतों का आगमन रेगिस्तान में ठंडे पानी के चश्मे की तरह था ।
बहरहाल राकेश जी आपका तहे दिल ⚘⚘से शुक्रिया अदा करता हूं कि आपने मेरे बेहद पसंदीदा संगीतकार पर एपीसोड तैयार किया ,सचिन देव बर्मन,मदनमोहन ओर रौशन साहब मेरे प्रथम श्रेणी के पसंदीदा संगीतकार हैं ।राहुल देव बर्मन सलिल चौधरी,ख़य्याम साहब राजेश रौशन ,उषा खन्ना,कल्याण जी आनंद जी नौशाद साहब इन प्रथम श्रेणी की तिकड़ी के बाद आते हैं।
फिलहाल इतना ही उम्मीद है कि आप ऐसे ही अनसुने किस्सों से हमें अवगत कराते रहेंगे

The very good history of RDB. But the film Teresi Manzil song should have been played which made Punchm popular shattering the confidence of even O P Nayyar. The style of Guitar played by Punchm is totally different than what OPN and SJ used to play. Good video.

Actually Vidhu Vinod Chopra took RD in Parinda and the music was not a big hit but still songs of Parinda was good and continuing with it Vidhu Chopra repeated him in 1942 a love story.

Parinda was almost shelved but Rd recorded one song at personal expense and motivated v Chopra to make parinda..that bond became fruitful in 1942 a love story 👍👍

@@rakeshsadeo well it's not a correct info brother.... RD was a trendsetter and trendchanger for music arrangement in hindi cinema and you are giving his first film music arrangement credit to others without having any proof... its unfair

Rd ki asli innings teesri manzil se shuru huyi...maan lo meri ek information correct nahi baaki sab kya hai..tumhe lagta hai ek Film ke arrangement ka credit kisi aur ko jaane se Rd ke career par uski creative approach par koi fark pad sakta hai...
