- What is the difference between a music composer and a music director? A music composer makes a tune. A music director makes a SONG.
In this video, Maddy tries to demonstrate how one composition can transform into four different emotions. A classic example of how R D Burman, the Music DIRECTOR approached the song.

I remember, in our teens how my classmates n I would debate on the versions of Kishore Kumar n Mohd Rafi. Truly ICONIC song.. the magic of the amazingly gifted RDB in multiple hues.. a rarity in Hindi film music.
RD could create magic because he was the son of the great legendary music composer Sachindev Burman .
RD was the real gem in the music industry .
He made possible the comeback of Kishore da .

He is an institution of music and creative art. My favorite musician since my childhood. He rightly deserves Bharat Ratna posthumously. 🙏🙏🙏

@@imkaran7 You read abt Kishore. I have read a lot about the legend.. Kishore first marriage was mutual divorce, Second one with Madhubala ended with her death, Third marriage wife Yogeeta Bali left him for Mithun & 4th marriage was successful till the legend's death..
It takes guts to marry a dying female.. Kishore knew abt Madhubala condition and gave her love and happiness by marrying her... People require some sense of maturity to understand Kishore..

Ye gaana jab kk sahab gaate hain to kitna behetreen sunai padhta hai, lekin jab rafi ji ko sunta hoon to gaana kitna saada lagta hai
Shayad isi liye javed akhtar sahab ne yahi baat kahi hai ki kk sahab ke aage rafi ji bahut kamzor hain. Mujhe personally rafi ji kaafi pasand hain as gazal and kawwali singer but romantic aur doosre yonour ke gaanon mein rafi ji kk sahab se kaafi peeche hain. Aur ek baat rdb saab ko salute for giving birth to this superb song
