i'm from new york, and there i had a lot of access to Dominican hair salons for a good price.. I moved to ohio and the few salons i do see want to charge me 70+ for something i used to pay 30 bucks for. I bought a mannequin head to practice on it hoping to get my technique right to do my own hair. thank you for these videos
Your very welcome! Shampoo and conditioners that are best are the ones that address your hair issues. Brands I love are: Alfa Parf Milano , Wella has an amazing line for color treated hair. Here is a link but you have to look up for your hair texture Fine, Norma, Coarse etc. amazondotcom/Brilliance-Shampoo-Conditioner-Coarse-Colored/dp/B006VLYG98/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1366683932&sr=8-2&keywords=shampoo+wella
Yes you can rollerset your own hair but when your hair is really really curly it is a little difficult. On growing the hairs on the back of your neck, that can have many different factors to it. You can try NIOXIN which is a system that is used to "wake up" the follicles and promote hair growth. Hope this help :)
@philo. Im assuming your in the transition phase. There are different methods to make your hairstyle straight the healthy way. I will make a video soon, showing how. Thanks for the awesome question! ;)

When you say straight look do you mean after her hair is dried it's blown or flat ironed out or straight look because of the big roller. If you understand what I'm trying to say ..?
