"The game in arena is that you have to play stuff. If you don't play stuff you lose, so you play stuff. But if you play too much stuff you still lose because of Flamestrike. But if you play stuff and it gets frozen so it's not active so you have to continue to play stuff and then you play too much stuff and then you lose because of flamestrike" - Kripp on playing stuff

Kripp's deck was INSANE.
My best answer to a freeze Mage/ Chugger is Wailing Soul (Battlecry: Silence your other minions). I love when a Mage plays a frost nova or Blizzard turn 6 expecting to flame strike the following turn without taking damage, then Boom!

I usually throw Blingtron into my mechmage deck since they're frozen often anyways. It doesn't matter if I give them a weapon.

How come at 10:25 the warrior gets frozen, even though it only took armor damage? Didn't it used to be so that armor blocked freeze?
In beta, yeah. Now only divine shield blocks freeze.
Losing armor still means that the target received damage and the card text says "freeze any character damaged by this minion".
Divine Shielded minions wont get frozen cause the minion itself takes no damage. However, icelance and other freezing spells always work cause they dont need ro deal damage to freeze.
Verrulz it used to not freeze characters with armor back in da beta

Each class has their own OP elementals, but the mage one happen to be a 4 drop instead of a 6 one. So it's perfectly fine that it is a bit OP.

Only 2 classes have elementals
okay then, let's pretend Savannah Highmane is a green elemental, Temple enforcer a white one, Dread infernal is, now the Shieldmaiden for the warrior, Kidnapper is a strange one but an elemental still :P, and for Paladin the Guardian of Kings although he's not a great card.
But you see the pattern I wanted to highlight, above vanilla 6 drops mostly with unique effects . Okay they're not elementals, whatever.
and Druid has arguably lot's of elementals.

Guessing because he was worried about brawl or mind control tech. He was stomping the game so hard anyway that he didn't need to flood the board, but if he got brawled and just the yeti survived, he coulda lost

I love those tense games where you just get smashed down to below 10 health, they are still at 30... and then they've played all their cards and you've got a full hand to make a beatdown with. I won a 1/28 game once. He had 28 HP... i had 1 left... 2 rounds was all it took!

Lol when a minion with freeze attacks, whatever is attacked is frozen for one turn. However, when a minion with freeze is attacked, the attacker is frozen for 2 turns!! I feel late for not knowing this before this video lol
I stuck a Blessing of Wisdom in my paladin deck, for additional Pyromancer synergy. But against mages, I just cast it on the first Chugga Chugga I see. This little guy basically draws me an extra card every turn until I draw an answer. So far everyone have gladly given me 3-5 cards in return for freezing my face every turn. Don't get me wrong, it's not gonna give me the win, but those extra cards might be the thing that makes me win the late-game.
