In the movie Adam had just been born so it makes sense that he isn’t fully mature yet im sure that in future MCU films his character will reach its comic book equivalent
@@sandizzle333 And this is how it should be working. If a literal new character is introduced directly with his peak extraordinary powers, the character won't be able to go through his development phase, this would just make it boring to see him. I think it was an interesting change to make High Evolutionary Adam's creator. Even though it's not canon, it fits in well with something HE would do, in his quest for the "perfect" being. It fit in well with the Guardians movie.👍🏽
Even though he wasn’t actually the one that created Adam on the movie either, it was interesting that their connection was altered to make Adam seem less than the High Evolutionary. While in the comics, they sort of had a strange friendship.
For anyone saying that the MCU nerfed Adam Warlock, he just got out of a pod. Throughout each scene of the movie, his actions and mannerisms is just like in the comics when he was built for the first time. These comic nerds gotta stop calling him bad already!
@@bac483 well yes, like all characters in MCU.... they did a great job with Adam, as the Adam in this video is the peak Adam, not the Adam that was recently created, it litterary acted the same. He did a great job making him
If Adam Warlock was comic accurate in Marvel Rivals , battles would be hilariously one-sided which would probably not be enjoyable on the receiving end. Still I got say, it sucks that he can't slowly float in the air, even for short durations.
I still have the Infinity Wars comics that I got when I was a teenager in the 90's. When the movies came out I thought it was going to be him against Magus just like in the comics.
I hope we see Warlock become closer to his comic variation the MCU version is fine for first appearance it makes sense but with time I want to see the true Warlock. The guy who is easily one of the strongest around.
facts. Him coming out of the "pod" early isn't much of an excuse lmao. But apparently in the comics when he came out of his pod early, this is how he was acting.
Back in the 90s.. i just could not figure out what his powers were supposed to be when he wasnt enhanced by an infinitely stone or something. The literally just said he was made to be the perfect being.. but never really showed anything except his cosmic awarenes..
A year later and it’s still very obvious mcu severely nerfed Adam warlock but honestly I get why they did it and I still love guardians of the galaxy 3 imo
he is above dr manhattan scale wise due to him being 2nd to toaa if need be as well as him taking toaa power for himself toaa is the god of marvel btw.
For those complaining, they explained that Adam was used too early in his stage of development hence why he isn’t smart and doesn’t know how to properly use his powers. The guardians would be COOKED if they fought a fully realized Warlock
Everyone in the comments talking about how mcu Adam sucks but he’s young? Like bruh let him cook, let him grow up to his full potential people aren’t even giving him a chance.
With every comic book hero/villain... they are as strong or as weak as they need to be based on the storyline at present. There is no set power levels for anyone.
Yeah... His most formidable power is being the right hand of God as the Living Tribunal. Both energy and matter manipulation is an incredibly common power, pretty much anyone past street tier makes use of both. This in no way shows just how powerful Adam is.
Ok guys tbf adam was just born. And have at it too early. He will probably be god like in the future. Just be glad they didnt do what they did with Rey Palpatine; Mary Sue
Not really, comparatively speaking... he is based on the Adam that was recently built, he was also an idiot that was basically learning to adapt and all that as he had no experiences. All of the MCU is nerfed, that is not something new.
Everyone in the comments bitching about the MCU version have 0 patience's do you expect them to do his full story in just 1 film that wasn't even about him it's called character development you all need to chill and let marvel do there thing he was basically just born and born early as well so just relax and enjoy the journey of the character god
I prefer the MCU version tbh. He's still powerful but he's not ridiculously OP. I feel like Captain Marvel shows us what it's like when these kinds of heroes get comic accurate power levels, and honestly it's not great.
MCU went for a more humorous version of his initial appearance from the comics, where even with latent powers he was mentally a child. His more OP self is one that slowly developed throughout the comics, unlike the rushed MCU Captain Marvel
Comic adam: literally a god
MCU adam: what kind of dog is that
idk how thats supposed to make him seem weaker or worse? also why are u acting like it was said he was a baby at the time?
even in comics, he was fist introduced as a little idiotic.

If we now got Warlock and Marvel, the new big bad for Avengers is going to be seriously powerful.
Hopefully adam warlock is in doomsday and secret wars
has the same hp as black widow in rivals

Is he still as powerful without The Soul Gem?
Soul Gem was a limiter because it drained some life force. If Superman had the Gem, he'd be at half power.
BORN AGAIN
In the comic is an all powerful being and in the movies he's a literal man child and a Mama's boy
He’s not a man child he basically WAS a child! In his next appearance i guarantee we will see him grow into his powers more.
Adam Warlock is the reason Groot is so huge at the end of Guardians 3.
Because g root absorbs the energy around him like photosynthesis
So he's kinda like a full infinity gauntlet in one creature.
Isn't he supposed to have the soul gem in his forehead? No, I'm not confusing him with Vision.
Another version I guess

He was a Jesus allegory, which is hilarious
Tuned him down more than MCU hulk in rivals. But hes still kinda fun i guess
How did Enclave create a man, much less endow him with powers that can have him pass for an Asgardian or Eternal?
In Guardians of the galaxy he was just like a 3 year old baby who's just been born. Imagine him in future Marvel movies he'll be broken lol perhaps.
they fucked him up on marvel rivals 😭
