Every sports person and or team goes through a dip. Name calling and rudeness won't fix it. We in South Africa have experienced it a lot. Due to poor coaching staff, government interference and bad players. BUT at the end the game always wins and everyone gets another chance. NZ culture is deep its been a few bad games, and not years of bad games. Keep your heads up guys, I still respect you!

He's either causing a penalty, losing a ruck, late to the breakdown or throwing a horrendous pass (that ends in a try). As an Aotearoa rugby purist I congratulate Sth Africa on their epic win. That style of rugby will steer you well with the RWC 23’ just around the corner. The 2nd test will be a banger as are most tests between our 2 nations usually are. Well done!
To our boys, heal your wounds, harness the hurt and look deep into your ancestral history for the mojo that is our Black jersey.
This feels similar to the J Mitchell (Coach) and T Randall (Capt) of the late 90s era. Where 5 tests were consecutively lost.
NZ have just come off thee MOST dominate era of our history’s stature and that’s saying something.
We were a team gifted of X factors across the paddock.
    Woodcock, Franks, Mealamu
Coles, Retallick, Whitelock (earlier versions), Kaino, McCaw,Reid, Smith,Carter, Nonu, C Smith, Savea and B.Smith all these players had it.
Add to that group an exceptional Coaching TEAM of 3.
Henry, Hansen and yes another Smith
Fast forward and we have a couple, one of them at the wrong end of the age ledger for his position where age has slowed his speed (IMO) but still an exceptional player
Our ability to turn defence into attack has been stifled, we have forwards moving the ball on before contact, we have side to side movements of our attack ending with strategic-less kicks when the oppositions defensive line cannot be broken.
Do we have the best players out there?
Do we have the best player to lead this team?
IMO the Captain is a player who’s name Is 1st on the list.
A.Savea would make any international side. He’s the best consistent player, he’s a great No.8 but a better Blindside Flanker No.6
We should scour the land for a complimentary duo of Openside and No.8
Respect for your years of service Whitelock, Retallick, A.Smith,Coles however the game has changed from these stalwarts peak years.
You have done you and yours proud.
Our blooding for depth needs to be quick and soon.
Finally this coaches tenure has to be brought to an end.
5 losses in 6 test matches is simply unacceptable for a legacy of this calibre.

From a Kiwi in NZ, I have to say - the Boks were stupendous. Absolutely relentless on defence and with miles of style in attack. The way we normally play...Very deserved win. I think the Boks would have murdered Ireland yesterday. They were a comprehensive 'Team' and genuinely clinical. Not to mention physical - they simply out-muscled us, and the intimidation rattled the All Blacks, who are obviously feeling the pressure from the public here at home (or should that be the Coach...). I only hope we can re-group before the World Cup because both South Africa and Ireland could easily knock us out of the quarters in current form. Enjoy the win! I was a great game to watch. Sorry state for New Zealand though, so many talented players played out of position. Foster must be under serious pressure now. Now ask the same about Scott Robertson... smh. Whoever decides the ABs coach and captain has to be fired too. Embarrassing, (not to lose to SA, that is always 50-50 and love it because of that). Let's be honest here... Boks were not good. I can handle the box kick when our wingers are that good at regathering possession, but the aimless kicking when we have the opposition on the back foot and our only plan is to hoof it for a winger to chase, only to watch it bounce harmlessly into touch - no, that's not good! A good number of our players were good tonight, but we did not play well as a team.
