Great informative Interview. very motivating. The discussion part relating to taking the stairs and choosing an active challenge instead of the less physical one has always been my pet peeve. If I park my car in a parking lot I always park down to the last space to get the walk. There again, people who ride with me thank I'm crazy for not circling the lot to get closer, but I've always been active.

Glad you enjoyed it! I didnt realize it uploaded with an error.
The rest of the interview is up on podcast players too. And totally agree, just doing little things throughout the day to add physical activity makes such a bog difference

I lost a bit of clarity/content around the Creatine at the end but otherwise all good. I'd like to hear your thoughts on Taurine which I've been using for the last few weeks as an alternative to Creatine (which I didn't get on with tbh)..? Thanks and all the best. PEACE!

As far as creatine, it’s completely different than taurine, so you can’t take 1 expecting it to serve as the other.
You should 100% take creatine independent of anything else you take, especially as you age.
As far as taurine and longevity, it’s not known if the studies in model organisms will transfer to humans, but there is no harm in supplementing it, so I wouldn’t stop.
As for creatine, I am going to do a deep dive episode of just me going over the evidence for using it for potential health span/longevity

@@JerryTeixeira Thanks , I do appreciate they are very different and it was incorrect of me to say I was taking Taurine as an alternative. I did try Creatine powder a few years ago and it messed up my fluid balance/urination/hydration and I got pretty bad headaches so a tad reluctant to try it again, but have recently looked at best delivery, thinking maybe sugarfree gummies might be an option. I'm almost as old as PD Mangan so maybe I should get back on it :¬)...🙏

Hey man, my feet are aching and burining during calf raises, any idea why? Ive got flat feet so that might be part of the issue? Thanks!

Hard to say, but may need to strengthen the muscles of the feet. How often are you barefoot?

@@JerryTeixeira I don't wear shoes in the house. I've got flat feet caused by foot muscles that are weaker, so I'm confident that's the cause.

do not agree, do not even find it very scientific. diet is for me more important than movement although i do lots of sport only one thing only made my asthma go away. LOW CARB!

Thanks. The crazy thing is I was in a professional studio.
I have been playing around with recording these at home and for what ever reason the sound quality is better at home on my Mac.
