I need Beck's lousiana character to meet up with the Jason Sudeikis's Maine Justice character
And then they show up to see Nadeen in Augustus's Emergency Room
The honourable Marshal T. Boudreaux vs Bouyu Benny.
Chris Ross with special guest Congressman Fenton Worthington-Carey
That's the first thing I thought!
And then steals a potato chip from the NASA Human Resources director.
"You git on outta here, you biscuit!" 😂😂😂
A H C nearly busted my gal bladder laughing so hard that part
I think angry gator that dun been sleeping undah my house brought some valid points
He's usually divisive with his speech, but I agree with his ideas here😂
I think we need a ban on his kind cause they all seperating kids from their parents at Disneyland.
*awngry
mango I read this before watching the video and I was so confused
He did graduate Magna Cum Laude from Tulane
Beck Bennets Accent.... lmao xD
Where's the outrage? Has Apu taught us nothing? Isn't everyone supposed to be in a blind rage about this?
Oooooh a Conservative, everybody! He's playing "What About"...
We know, JL...her eMails.
@@charlotte.MetalMaiden no, we don't! Lol
Troy Evitt we know. Merrick Garland.
Kurt Brock - A swing and a miss there.
Tbh I’m just happy he nailed the pronunciation of “lagniappe” 😂
Beck looks like KFC's Colonel Sanders.
He really does
mixed with Leo's character from Django lmao
KFC is already pulling from the alumni pool, might as well start using current cast members too.
Hell, they already pissed off people by having Reba McIntire
All of the Louisiana characters from SNL looks like Colonel Sanders. Always have a gator too
Im in Louisiana, even tho the accents were off, I died @ We angrier den a box of ghosts what been trapped in dat dare box by a witch....ROTFL
Ditto!!
Same here
For me, the accents and over the top nonsense totally turned me off. Lived in LA for a few years and just can’t any longer see this as funny. Parody needs to be rooted in some sense of reality, and this is - to my taste - to ridiculous. The actor needs to go ahead and pronounce “lagniappe” correctly, or it’s a waste of my time.
@@erstwhilerambler Too ridiculous yet actual Louisianians find it funny.
I'd venture you're a conservative snowflake right?
Same here. But the lingo was close lol.
As a native of Baton Rouge that lived in Lafayette for 5 years can I be both offended and be crying laughing at the same time?
Bayou Benny needs to be a regular character of the show. This is the first skit in a while that made me laugh until I cried. I love SNL and I watch every week but this skit had my stomach cramping from laughs.
Now my 5 year old's saying "Get outta here you biscuit!" every day
I'm from Louisiana and I understood every word. That made me laugh so hard! Great impression.
New Orleans feels like a second home and this damn skit took me there!
Me too! ✋
You from the Lou?😊...I'm from Philly so Idk what they're saying 😂
That's easy because every word was "here"
@@NJ-wb1cz I think that's pronounced "hur" sir😊
I’m from Louisiana and my great grandfathers first language was Cajun French. I grew up an hour away from Lafayette in a village named Turkey Creek. Not only did I understand this, I identified with it. Lol
I have a sudden hankerin' for Popeyes.
I had positive flashbacks to crawfish and beignets. #TouristNewbieForever
Popeye’s chicken is freakin’ awesome!
No. Make your own fried chicken. Your body will thank you.
What about gizzards?
Yuck I tried it Thursday it had no taste and was tiny thin slices of chicken that's not a chicken place and coleslaw is the worst ..skip Popeyes if you actually taste food
I’m from south Louisiana and all I can focus on is the way Aidy said Atchafalaya
I live here and I don’t even try to pronounce that word
“A chaf a liar” lol
This sketch needed Jason Sudeikis from Maine Justice
NIC Sicko My thoughts exactly, with a little Jamie Foxx as Jessup, mmmm mmmm bebe.
Yeah this sketch had a very Maine Justice vibe to it, which I loved as it's one of my favorite SNL bits of all time. This bit was very nearly as funny as Maine Justice too.
I don't think I've ver seen that. Love Jason Sudeikis though.
@@memyself6659 Do yourself a favor, watch it..it's hilarious
@@kdh2484 verbatim what I was about to type
He looked SO pleased when seth said "yes" after not understanding lmao
LMAO when Seth didn't understand a damn thing he was saying and just replied with a confused "yes??" and Benny's response ..that laugh it was like he was so pleased hilarious!!! Lmao
I wasn't enjoying this until she had to shoo the biscuit out. Then for some reason, I loved it!
L B Same, that’s all Ady. And every rebuttal Seth Meyers had was pretty funny.
Reminds me of how my mom used to shoo the neighbor's cat out the house with a broom, lol.
The boy don’t dance.
Jessica N Seth Meyers is not funny whatsoever I swear random trolls must like your comment I swear. That’s why his videos will be on trending with less that 200,000 views
that biscuit was the only good part..not sure what the point of all the rest of it was. There is something in Comedy called "punching down" and attacking Southern Progressives for being Southern is mind shatteringly stupid. Unless you are actually part of the Establishment and trying to maintain the status quo. Oh look, there's Seth Meyers!
as a Louisianian i find this both offensive, but completely accurate.
I also found it strange that i understood most of it, but have never had a conversation with a person who spoke like that.
???????
Yes lol
Yeah same. I'm from New Orleans but we don't actually talk like that in the city.
Did someone mentioned they're Just jokes?🤔🤦🏾♂️
@Junior Ray man i liked the video it was funny as hell. i guess offensive carries a negative connotation so maybe not the best word choice
*Was this just so Beck could attempt a Cajun accent?*
Right. That set dressing was an excuse to use that gatuh costume.
If it is, then he failed.
@@scottoliv737no he didn't fail because the purpose of a comedy show (unlike a documentary) is to make people laugh and be funny, and he did just that
This skit FINALLY broke a million views. This is one of the funniest skits i'd seen. this had me dying lol
As a Louisiana native I'm offended...as a person with a sense of humor I'm crying😂😂😂 y'all not pronouncing half the words rite buy the KFC guy kinda sound like my mom neighnor KINDA
That's how I feel lol I'm not sure if I should be offended or laughing XD
I absolutely love when they make fun of where I live, personally.
Nicole Lee Then why are you not crying
Relax, you can laugh at it. Everybody knows Louisiana hasn't been like that for a really long time. No need to take offense to things that are not meant to offend. There's way too much of that going around already these days.
Travis Smith, did you go to UL?
My family is from the Lafayette area and I can't tell if this is offensive or hilarious XD
The fact that the Gator was liberal... that cracked me up for some reason. This whole sketch is a mess, and I love it
When you’re ‘offended & laugh-crying at the same time’, you know dey done hit de nail on de head, damnit

Dude! Brought back my childhood for a minute!
Most underrated, hilarious skit in SNL history!!!
Leslie really nailed being a gator with no lines and just moving around
I lost it when Beck kept shouting biscuit xD
I just realized that I don’t think I’ve ever seen Beck break character. I’ve never seen him crack even the smallest smile
He nearly breaks towards the end of the "dive bar" sketch, it's hilarious
I died twice @ them bringing out a biscuit to wrestle, omfg
I've never seen Beck have so much fun 😂😂😂
“At-cha-fuh-ly-uh”
Jesus
Mais, I got da frissons when dey said dat.
Lmao Beck! My uncle is from Ohio and talks like that. Sounds like Boomhauer from King of the Hill. I have to really listen to him on the phone lol. Love him to bits
Does he live near Kentucky because thats the only place I feel a person from Ohio would have such a strong accent
He grew up on the Bayou and moved to Columbus Ohio 10 yrs ago. I grew up in the West and my husband makes fun of the way I say wash...I say worsh....saying wash sounds funny to me because when I try, it comes out sounding like waaaash lmao. Also when I say day, I've always said it like duh-aye Lol
Lol, thanks for clearing that up, I was kinda confused, accents are so funny 😂
Lol you're so welcome 😊
I used to work at a senior living community and now I wish I could show this to this older guy who used to be a lawyer for 40 years in Louisianna.
SNL and Mr. Michaels, please bring this character back every week!
How can this be so bad and so good at the same time? That biscuit leaving cracked me up.
The fact that I understood everything coming from out his mouth tells a lot about where I’m from 😂
I want to see more of these! Beck Bennett is great 😂
I must say some of us here in Lafayette do sound that way. Hell I cant even make out what some of these cajuns says some times and I'm born and raised here lol
I would ve liked 33 shows of 'dat dare lagniappe program, here' , it s so good

I've gotta stop watching so much History Channel.

I think I love you.
Allison Linner Is that why I am laughing so much ? I better watch it again straight .. lol It was so weird I loved it .
English is not my first language and this sounds like when we're suppose to do an extremly hard listening task at school. Why, snl?
English isn't their language as well
parts of Louisiana have a strong accent because the native language is French
*supposed to

Its a Cajun accent, if you are not used to it you want understand it.
The cajun dialect is is inscrutable to everyone if you've never grown up with it or been around it for any length of time.

Alex Moffat was having WAY too much fun in that biscuit costume.

This was hilarious and if SNL's goal was to confuse people depending on their political stance, I think it worked. 😍✌
Not really, most of the insults were toward Louisiana not the left.
This video is still biased as hell.
I was just confused but after the biscuit bit I couldn't stop laughing.
I dont know why but Kate drinking the coffee is the funniest thing ever.
lagniappe - something given as a bonus or special gift
They said crawdaddy. Not amused. 😤
Seth's face😂😂 he did so well in this sketch
Da Chili Pepper with Da Sunglas-ses is my favorite!
I was so confused for like 3 min and then I just could not stop laughing at this. Beck is iconic
Can I teach the SNL cast how to pronounce Atchafalaya?
GamingKin Yep, they lost my attention right there. You can find out how to pronounce words correctly on google. Super lazy SNL.
I love the way the people in South Louisiana speak. They throw in a little French when they talk.
Black Ceasar yea we do. I never learned French, because my parents went through school with a threat of being kicked out if they spoke French. They wanted us to sound more educated, so we lost a lot of our heritage.
So if you hear someone tell a child to put that babin away, it means they are pouting and their bottom lip is sticking out.
And if we put the Gris Gris on you... you better start praying. 😂
OMG I've been watching sketches since the last 2 months and I must admit I never laughed so hard until this! I really didn't understand a word Beck said (and I love him more for this) and Seth was amazing!!!
LMAO, the anger he put into his eyes chasing the biscuit was hilarious, really into it, one funny dude.

I often feel like Seth Myers in this skit lol.
@Witch's Brew Sims well it's not funny tbh the main sketch where they talked in the same accent was funnier because they weren't specific about the region of Louisiana they were parodying this is a place I Kno well and we have specific accent here and if they went so far as to name a real city they should really Kno something about it not allot but maybe just the very foundation of their sketch
I'm from Louisiana and you sound like this to me. 🤷♂️
@doubleshot starfoxx *spoke in the same accent

*a lot ("allot" has a different meaning)
One of the funniest sketches in a long time. I love the absurd.
I’m from Lafayette. My last name is Louviere, as Cajun as it comes. I’m assuming that the actors have never been to South Louisiana. We don’t sound anything like this. I had trouble understanding nearly everything that they said. A for effort, I guess. 😳
Crystal landry if they spend a little time in Brooklyn, they will be pretty darn close to New Orleans. I would rather hear that than listen to them butcher us.
I’m from Lafayette as well, and to be apart of the Cajun/Creole heritage all I will say is the accent yes, I guess; the convo, no! A for effort like you say
Seth’s so confused and I love it.
Law-day! Mais, y'all musta not come an got down to axe actual Cajuns for some help wit dis, no. We like you done did dat sketch, yeah, an we laugh a lil bit, but here's some tings y'all got wrong wrong. Make me all honte. Look, I got da frissons just tinking 'bout it!
Dat accent T-Ben got is not anyting near Cajun! Us Cajuns don't do dat drawl ting like e'rbody else das above I-10. Da only tings should be draggin is Alphonse cast net to catch him some shrimps, an Boudreaux's babin since he all booday, him. I tink it's cause Alphonse not invite him to da camp dis weekend. I dunno, me, but I tink Alphonse did dat because Boudreaux keep drinkin all his beers when he not home. But I digest, me.
What makes y'all couillons always tink New Orleans is Cajun? I can't wrap mah lil tête around dat. Also, why couldn't t-gator go to UL (University of Louisiana at Lafayette), comme ça? He likes dat Cypress Lake swamp dey got on campus. He can hang out wit his podnahs all day long, him. He say it's like being at da camp. An Tulane for all dem fancy River Ranch people. Dey tink dere fois not stink, dem. Go pass by da Ambassador plant, den you see!
T-Ben also never axed how's e'rybody's mom and dem, he just axed how you all doing. Das not da same ting, no. Not. Da. Same. Ting. Poo-yie! Dat's da only acceptable greeting when a Cajun cross pats with another Cajun.
If anyting y'all done mess up wit is dat not one of dem cooked some rice. Y'all done made maw-maw all fâché. She lookin for her flycewater rite now, her.
