    For the passenger floor board inserts, use a good c-clamp for pressure (and soapy water) and they slide right in.

    The windex is good for those rubber inserts on floor boards and grommets too.

    Anyone have trouble with getting the tape to stick on the ends of the piece? I totally cleaned the area an the ends don't seem to want to stick. Everything seems to be properly lined up any suggestions?

    I have this same exact bike and these same left side pieces but had a bear of a time getting the starter cover to line up and stay on as there is a cable that comes out through the triangle frame piece that seems to not allow the cover to sit flush. I eventually gave up. Also, is it possible to get replacement 3m tape?

    • @CruiserCustomizing
      @CruiserCustomizing  8 лет назад

      The cover seemed to sit flush on ours, can you verify the cable routing is the same on our bike? Maybe the factory routed the cables differently? As for the 3M tape you can buy it online or at some local auto stores, but we do not sell it.

    Do the passenger floor boards always stay flat or are they supposed to fold up.

    • @seanoshields6327

      I want a pair of these spear floorboards, but I want them to fold up and out of the way. Do you know if they make a part to allow them to do that. I do not want them to stay flat all the time.

    what would the complete set of spear accessories run?

  • @JorgeReyes-gd9xy
    @JorgeReyes-gd9xy 8 лет назад

    are the passenger pegs retractable like the originals, and also how resistant to the corrosion the chrome parts are if I travel to the ocean often

    • @CruiserCustomizing
      @CruiserCustomizing  8 лет назад

      The passenger pegs do have teh ability to pivot if you do not install the set screws. In most positions the floorboards will contact the side panels if they are folded up so we recommend using the set screw. The chrome finish should be as or more resistant to corrosion when compared to any chrome that comes on the bike from the factory.

      @@CruiserCustomizing are they going to make a bracket that allows them to fold up like the ones Indian Motorcycle offers?

    Did Kuryakyn use metric bolts where they supplied the bolt up (like the toe rests) or did they pull their usual stunt and use UNC so you need two different sets of tools?

    Nice, but I fear all this chrome will require more time cleaning and maintaining the shine than riding that beautiful beast.

      @CruiserCustomizing  8 лет назад

      Yes all that chrome will take a bit more elbow grease, but man it looks good.

      Some of their stuff if nice but I got their longhorn highway pegs and when I took them off to put them on a new bike I saw they cheaped out on the bolts and and washers and were all rusted. 180 bucks for that bullshit.

    Pay top dollar for an over priced bike and then customers to pay more money for all this other crap. I don't think so!
