Seeing Albert last year with the Dodgers was amazing. He looked genuinely happy to be playing baseball again for the first time in years. I hope he gets 700 tonight, even against my boys in Blue. He actually IS what we wish all professional athletes would be, but seldom ever are. BTW: When a literal legend like Albert Puljos says "seeing how they (Dodgers organization) go about it" actually inspired him to keep playing, you can safely assume you're doing something right Andrew Freedman. That's a compliment worth separating from the noise.
Uncle Albert is absolutely one of the biggest role models for not only baseball, but how to appreciate life,God, each other, teammates. Man, to get a hug from him!!! I always pull for our Blue crew, but I kinda want to see him get cheered by the fans here for his milestone!!
The Dodgers changed basball history in such a great way. We want nothing more than a WS for the Dodgers, but regardless, the Dodgers of the past decade have defined what it means to have a sports team represent a city. I am so proud to be a life-long Dodgers fan.
Dodgers stadium always got the jams going in the background. That's how you entertain the players and the fans (talking to you at the Rose/snooze bowl).
It’s a weird case with Albert and the Dodgers. He barely played for them, but it’s hard not to associate him with the team. Your example is one of many reasons why. However briefly he and the team interacted, special moments always seemed to occur, especially at Dodger Stadium. It’s either that, or I’m just jealous of the Cardinals and want to call him ours somehow!
@@ktbeatty 85 games. Yea he was super one dimensional but I love how he fit in right away. For the fans, let’s not forget he played half his career in Anaheim (LA)
Don't get carried away! 2 dingers over the next 3 games most could live with, but you want 2 in a game with 1 being a walk off?! The walk-off would do absolutely nothing for his career or legacy.....tone it down a notch.
So nice of the Dodgers to feed him pitches and donate the game. No wonder they almost always choke in the playoffs, they don't know how to go for the kill. A real pitcher would have drilled him!
@@angelventura3463 Not really. It was, effective or not, clearly tongue in cheek, and unlike the countless disgusting comments on all social media platforms that are totally sincere.
Maybe one day Albert will come clean about PED use. The guy can't even tell the truth about how old he is. Are we to believe he never used PED's? Really?
Lol wow... What a brain dead casual comment that embodies why everyone hates the bandwagon Dodger fans. I can't believe I'm a part of the same fan base as you bums
love hearing him talk about his relationship with both the vets and the young guys 😭💙🤍 you can tell how much they all valued his time here, even if it was short. congrats, tio 🎉🎉🎉

Not only one of the all-time greats, but a total class act. Congrats on 700 Albert!
Tio Albert forever

Classy dude.
Albert is a class act. Congratulations
Love this guy!

I hope he gets it during this series, but also when it doesn't decide the game lol.
You got your wish. Dodgers got pantsed 11-0. It’s fair to say his two knocks absolutely did not decide the game. 😃
Never forget that image of him holding up an injured Justin Turner down the dugout steps.

@@Luke.Cooking I’m hoping we can forget his time in Anaheim. 😉
@@ktbeatty I can certainly understand. Lol. By the way, if u look at his STL numbers, they are video game like. Props to a great career.
Cool....Go..... Tio Albert...LA Dodger---1 season....
Man, I hope he hits 2 dingers tonight and 700 is a go ahead HR in the 9th! I couldn't care less if it causes the Dodgers to lose. Go Tio Albert!!!

love the guy was beast back in the day but anyone think 699 and 700 was scripted with it being on Apple TV?

Can't enjoy anything, can you?
He gets tested as much as every other player on mlb so unless they can get a positive ped test, he's the "machine" and always will be
