- It's NOT from Australia, like you've been told, and I've got a BIG PROBLEM with the color of Foster's Premium Ale in the green can. I thought it used to be called Foster's Bitter. Let's Pop the Top on this 25.4 oz oil can!

It was very popular in Australia, once, but it faded in the late 1980s, as Schlitz did in the USA in the early 1980s. We plan to examine this ale on March 31st, unless we decide to do mass-produced cheladas.
I have a hard time with cheladas. The tomato juice gets me.

For me, in flavor, Foster's Premium Ale, is somewhere in between Yeungling Traditional Lager and Samuel Adams Boston Lager. What say you???

Foster's Bitter is nevertheless my favorite. Three significant figures on a five-star scale, though? "You can have precision without accuracy, but you cannot have accuracy without precision" (me).
I love this shit. I don't know why. I usually buy craft brew. But when I go slumin' I go for this. BTW, I EFFIN' hate PBR.

In the very niche environment of New York Penn Station, you really can't beat the value of this with two slices (preferably a grandma as one of them). Definitely one of the cheap brews with some actual flavor! Cheers!

If you’re not picky on the flavor go with the green can. You get 5.5% vs the blue 5% at the same price. Admit it when you buy and drink this stuff, the green can will get you where you want to go faster and better and they’re the same price. So you might as well go bigger.
Always like how they called it a premium and they have to dye it to get the proper color 😂😂😂

I love this beer, wish more places had it.
I'm convinced the Carmel Color in this beer is what makes me feel like crap the day after I've had a couple of them. I've had much more of much stronger beers and not had the same effect.
Thos guy does Zumba classes at the local YMCA and loves the way it "works up a sweat".
From what I've been told by an Australian friend, Foster's is a very regional thing there. I do kind of enjoy an occasional oilcan of the normal blue version, never had the green one.
Try the Green. I think you'll like it. Bit more flavor. CHEERS!

I happen to like Foster's. It's not an artsy-fartsy beer, but it's about quantity, not quality. But on a hot day after yardwork, you get good value for your money. However, truth be told, I prefer the blue can lager version.

I absolutely love this beer!!! Really great taste! Easy to drink and I got 4 oil cans for $7 which equals out to 8 beers. So amazing. If you haven’t had it, you’re missing out!!! The blue cab is great but if you’re looking for a little more flavor try the green can! You won’t be disappointed

Good review. Try Sierra Nevada hefferweisen and Bigfoot ale. Also Oskar blues g’knight ale. Some of the best beers ever made

In high school we used to mimic the commercial pitch but changed it it to : Fosters, Australian for queer!
