I own this version & the larger one aswell. Used them both alot during my courier days. I still use the md for when i have to shop or travel far. Even for day long outings. Its super handy & worth every cent. I think you’re right tho. It def takes certain person to love this bag. 😅

Have a look at the Fjallraven Haulpack No 1 . It's a bit lighter than this one which is designed for a bike messenger.
