  • On a Sunday in July 2016 we made a trip with the Krøderbanen in Norway. Steamlocomotive with old teak carriages and railcars traverse the 26 km long museum railway between Krøderen and Vikersund in Buskerud.

    Nice video.
    Brings back memories from when I was fireman on one of the E class, which is the same as the E2 except for the leading axle on the E2 which the E hasn't, that's a 0-8-0.
    Of both the E and E2 there is an example on a heritage railway in the south east of the Netherlands, the ZLSM, joined by 2 SJ B class locomotives, that's the railway where I volunteerd.
    This one on the video looks to be a really nice railway as well, and worth a visit.

    Hans I grew up in the US one grandparent swede,one norwegian, other grandparents same blood from Scotland. Norway looks like where I grew up,North central USA ,jeg er so glad jeg er Norsk.
