Oh my god the fact that the content aware scale effect sounds EXACTLY like the aliens is Killing me XD
I wanted all of Ulala's outfits as a kid!
They gonna make a movie
Now that's real news coverage!
This game was the reason i love rythm games. My favorite childhood game besides crash bandicoot and metal slug.
I can't believe Ulala predicted the future birth of the Jesus of music Chuu from LOONA
me neither
This game was my fave as a kid! I stole my older brothers Dreamcast from his room to play it late at night 😂
I love the strut she does with the hostages between each segment. It's really cute.
I never actually played any Space Channel 5 games. I only know her from the Saga Eyetoy game and I LOVED the space channel 5 game! Didn't realise the game was very similar
My god that power walk just makes the game 10 times better.
Wow what a playthrough, flawless :)
I haven’t seen this in 25 years!!! The ultimate nostalgia!!!!
Why do old games always look way better in my memory?
Limited graphics leave more to the imagination. Your brain is just filling in the gaps.
crts makes it all better B)
Prerendered backgrounds and old TVs
Her walk is so iconic
This game is so trippy.
All the old kids know, change all key binding to just one key, and there you go, a nice cheat
Rip, mine doesnt let me put multiple controls for one single key
@@amanda1271 rest in rip
What's funny is that the sequel itself recommends doing this as a kind of cheat lmao.
Not every directional button can be mapped, of course, but chu, hey, and down could, and those were the important ones
Whos to say this guy didn't do that
What's the point of cheating?
@9:51 the trumpets in this part SLAY me every time.😭
If somebody turned this into s movie, it could be a massive hit, imagine Men in Black meets Barbie and loads of cool dance moves.
this game is monster sick!!!
One of my favorite Dreamcast games. This thing was nuts when it came out.

The Secret Base is my favorite part of the game, just because of this boss.
P.S The cutscene after the first phase looks pre-rendered.
All backgrounds are prerendered
I thought i was watching a movie the final act with everyone was so epic!
Wow what a time 😭one of my favorite childhood games definitely!
@Sexy Anime Girl Tori Tomoko leave me alone…
This is such a fun movie to watch on RUclips. I don't know how I would be able to focus and not mess things up if I was playing it XD
I was gonna say 😂
you just suck at games
If anything deserves a movie adaption, it's this! I don't care if its in the style of the 2023 mario movie, or the 80's one! Either would be wild for an adaption of this game
90s*
Ulala is so sassy i love her sm
Thank God for Auto Mode. Even on real hardware with a first party controller on a CRT- all the right variables- input timings are just fucked. The game's timing drags just a tiny bit behind the beat, and it's SUPER tight with timing, so if you're on beat, you get pretty much every input wrong. The game fucks me over, I'm fuckin it right back with Auto Mode: the only way I can actually "play" this game.
No wonder Part 2 is the only game in the series to ever be ported to PC, that game actually works.

Sega went WILD when Y2K was in full swing. They pushed it quite literally out of orbit. This is definitely one of the most 2000s things I’ve ever laid my own two eyes upon.
