Great seats. I have owned two pairs. I sold the black one and just recently purchased tan leather ones. I'm installing my switches on my own and there's room for an optional switch. I'm adding a usb port on the extra slot and a zombie switch on the other seat.
I have an 88 mustang GT that I'm restoring. it's my 5th mustang. I've been going back and forth between Corbeau and Recaro. I want black leather with red stitching. I called corbeau and they were rude and said they wouldn't do custom orders. they stated go to an upholstery shop and they can do it, which of coarse is alot more money and it would void the factory warranty. Calling recaro was a different experience, they were professional and nice. recaro told me there would be an upcharge for the red stitching, which is acceptable for an upgrade. I really want the Ergomed ES seats..but that will be about a 4k upgrade.
Thanks for your comment. I did connect those seats to a battery and think I eneded up trading them for a set of seats in a different color. I've now got ANOTHER set that is in need of switches. Do you happen to know where I might buy all the switches? Thanks! Mike
I sold these seats to a friend several months ago. It's rare to get your hands on a set of these under $1500, or $2000 or $2500 in the right color. I traded my friend two sets of these seats for one in the right color.
Yes. I have a friend in Chicago that restored these. He gave me one restored tan set in exchange for two sets I didn't want (these black and a gray velour set too).

Hi, great seats! Did you connect seats to the battery? Do you need any special connectors? Thanks :)
