August 04 2024 Finally, I caught Bob still on his cushions before he heard Matilda's soft step or the cat food can being opened. Spend 10 minutes of the morning in this little heaven on earth.
Nutmeg's up, not ready to be caught but open to apples. Mr. Rooster's up, crowing. Raggedy Ann lost her collar, but she's not "working" being tied out, so she doesn't need one.
Bob sees something in the pile and we watch him for a time before heading back to the house.
