Nice to see Be'lakor getting some love. They're one of the best progressive melodic death metal bands and they've been putting out fantastic albums for over a decade. One of my favourite bands from my own home town Melbourne, Australia. Another amazing Australian prog metal band that is well worth a listen is Ne Obliviscaris.
Thank you Luke for this reaction. I appreciate your thoughts, and how you express them. Hopefully there will be enough interest for more Be'lakor, as they have a lot of good music on all of their albums. Be'lakor is from Australia, and they are a progressive death metal band. Their latest album, Coherence, was released in 2022 (if I recall). If you want to do a reaction from that album I'd suggest Foothold, Hidden Window, Much More Was Lost, or Locus. Thanks again for the reaction!😘
Thanks for the additional suggestions!! This channel presents a unique challenge for me. Lots of considerations: reactions from subscribers, reactions from longtime fans, reactions to bands that get lots of views, reactions to things I just feel like doing on a whim... Glad you enjoyed the reaction! I hope to revisit this band in the future. 🙂
@@RightManWrongPlace I have no idea if they are or not, but I have no idea why else they would name their band Be'lakor lol. I was a fan of the band before I got into Warhammer so it was pretty funny when I learned about the daemon Be'lakor from 40k.
Great reaction! Be'lakor took their name after the dark master, Be'lakor, in the Warhammer game. Also worth checking out their song: "The smoke og many fires". It's absolutely beautiful.
Be’lakor fuckin rules, every song on their last 4 albums range from great to masterpiece. Can never go wrong listening to this band, they’re the absolute cream of the crop in melodeath the last 15 years
@@RightManWrongPlace highly recommend the song “locus” from their most recent album when you do get back around to them, it’s another one of their long epic songs
Great reaction and breakdown :) Glad you liked their progressive melodic death metal style.. it's got many familiar influences but I feel like they do very much their own thing and it's beautiful. Thanks to @floridabelle for keeping the Be'lakor recommendations coming :D
Be'lakor is my #1.💚💚🤘 Been so for something like 8 years? Dare I say 10? (ADHD, I'm Bad with time, lol) Their latest was like getting punched in the face with awrsomeness. Before Vessels came out this song & Absit Omen were my favs, but prolly in large part cuz they were in the first 4 of the mix cd my husband made me for my car.😅😅 Also In Parting. But I love their whole discography. The Coherence album, tho, ah, it's So good! And you won't have to look up lyrucs for anything from vessels or Coherence (well the songs they made official videos for-all of Vessels, but only 3 or 4 from Coherence.)
These guys deserve so much love - they've been grinding away for years, always evolving, but always staying true to the melodeath sound.
Melodeath huh? Never even heard the term...I love it.
Most underrated band in metal today

Dang, a whole decade of this stuff? That's awesome; can't wait to listen to more!
Oh, and thanks to my fellow Opeth-loving sister, Floridabelle, for spreading the word about this band...
👋🏻 😊
Gotta get the word out when I can. ❤
Anita is the best! 🌀🌀🌀😍😍😍
@@cranboogie Aww shucks. Thank you!
I love how much y'all are on the same page. :D
@@RightManWrongPlace about once a week, I look for people discovering Opeth. I think Florida does it daily ❤️
Great song by Be'lakor! Their big fan from India \m/

I can't even imagine what it's like. Kudos to you and those that do reactions. We appreciate you. ❤
Be'lakor is easily my favorite band. The fact that they must be Warhammer nerds makes me love them even more.
Warhammer nerds, you say? That's wonderful news...

Agree. Song is a masterpiece.
One of the best Melodic Death Metal songs!
Definitely check out more from the band. They have an extremely solid discography
I'm up for it!

Most of their stuff is good, from what I've personally heard. I like In Parting from their album Of Breath and Bone.
Thanks for the suggestions!! I am definitely open to more from them.
It is about time. "Sone's reach" is a reach in time. It's how much the stone outlasts the sculptor's hand, or "reach".
Good detailed reaction of the great song by Be'lakor. Please do reaction of Much More Was Lost by Be'lakor.
