My kind of guy
This movie was utterly fantastic. Tom Hardy totally killed it as the Kray twins.
It takes a lot to admit that, he knew and that’s why he praised him.
I didn't see it that way. He didn't say he preferred boys because he felt so comfortable around the guy (that was supposedly the boss?) It was more of a test of power? Like how they haggled* before, I give you 40%, no you give us 50, I give you girls (which I'm comfortable with), no you give us boys (which you might feel not comfortable with)
But I haven't seen the movie
*edit used wrong word
Tom Hardy is a great actor.
The mafia actually used to protect gay bars back in the day
Huh. Cool.
It was not about acceptance but for money. Mafias run bars that were visited by the masses, and also bars that had certain predilections towards what was considered "taboo" tastes. These gay bars, mind you, were mostly grounds for these customers to sit and purchase male prostitutes for the night, who were often 13 - 17. Mostly because once these boys get old enough to actually get a working job, they quit.
Stop lying. They didnt "protect" gay bars. They used their gay patrons as a shield in case their bars were raided and blackmailed high profile gay men.
Good way to make sure a business partner never crosses you is to make them think you're completely and utterly insane
He was.
Ronnie ended up in Broadmoor, for shooting a guy point blank, in front of about 10 witnesses. He wasn't faking it, he was out of his goddamn mind.
@@mikecumbo7531that's how you _really_ make them think you're insane

One of the better gangster movies. Tom Hardy and Chaz Palmierri are amazing!
The only thing that’s wrong is that a mobboss would never give away an itaIian femaIe to a nonitaIian. And would never be okay with what was just said in this short.
That’s actually still a thing in a lot of eu pIaces like itaIy, since those pIaces kept its cuIture and didn’t amerikanize.
Name? Netflix?
Its a terrible movie
There are at least 20 gangster movies that are better than this. Godfather, Casino, Donnie brasco, Heat, pulp fiction, the departed, snatch, the list is endless lol
Genuinely like how boss man doesn’t care. Just says “cool” and moves on.
He had no choice at that point, he just accepted a deal to go into business together and the Italians needed them(the Krays) at that time. So, had no choice but to pretend he was ok with it. The Italian Mafia are MASSIVE homophobes. There's a ZERO tolerance policy but again, after the deal was made and since they needed the Krays for the time being, they had to put up with it. If the script was written differently as in, the Italians finding out he was gay before the meeting, the meeting WOULD NOT have taken place (if the writers kept it as realistic as possible)

Thank you
I love how supportive they are
Vincent "Chin" Gigante had a brother who was a priest and was into little boys.
I'd say it's more they respect the fact that he just said it with no fear of being harmed or judged. That shit's hard, even in this day and age.
Why do people ruin every scene by inserting music? You're not being clever.
✨️copyright ✨️
So? U just dont get monetization but u can still post
Okay so the reason why every video has these songs over them is so the clip doesnt get auto-detected by the copyright system. They basically only do it because they have to.
@@venom5552111no you literally cant post, the videos will be taken down and your account will be banned with enough strikes
@@lenax9798you can do other things to get rid of copyright like speed it up 1.1x or something. This just ruins it especially a scene that’s meant to be “thrilling” having that gay ass music over it
