This system, now 25 years old, continues to uphold the #Glendinning name, showcasing its durability and reliability over the years. 💪
During our investigation, we discovered the cause: a deteriorated harness due to age. But with the right #YachtMaintenance, we replaced the harness, and the system booted up as good as new! This video emphasizes the importance of regular upkeep-just like this well-maintained yacht that has avoided serious issues thanks to consistent care and attention. 🛠️

@@Csidemarine001 2nd owner, 12yrs. First owner was known to us. A crusty WWII Navy guy. did a lot of update work on her. We in midst of some work, but the sync is a -ok.

hmm.. was hoping to see some actual maintenance tips for the Glendinning system; but it is just a broken cable replacement job.

I have a similar system, although simpler (synchronizer only). It works well, keeps synchronization of my two motors, however, I cannot use it to bring the boat up to plane or back to idle, as one of the engines always goes ahead of the other. Eventually, they do synchronize, but it takes a while. I don’t know if this is normal operation, or if it is something that can be resolved. Would love to get in contact with you to troubleshoot if possible.
