Why am I crying seeing this... how much struggle has gone in to gain this independence..
Not just you. That last scene, when all of the freedom fighters in spirit were marching towards the cage, i was messed up
That's nothing what u saw in the video, the real sufferings was far more than this.....the famines, the riots where innocent hindu and Sikhs were literally butchered and women raped and hanged at meat shops, the partition......today we cannot even imagine what our ancestors did go through. My late grand father used to cry remebring what he saw in bihar and Bengal during when he was there for work in 1940s.
@@shravan5376 Yes, I know ...my Nani crossed to indian Punjab during partition as a child. It is so sad and horrific

You are not alone
We have not got freedom for free. Thousands of known and unknown heroes sacrified their lives to give us freedom.. My salute to them.. 🙏

That's true brother. Some of the families in India don't want to mention it because it's a matter of duty and no one should glorify it.
My great great great great grandmother queen Ropuiliani, who rule southern part of Mizoram state also killed by the british army.
How many times did you cry watching this video?

😭Couldn't contain my tears at the Jallianwala Bagh scene 🙏 and the pride you feel when Subhash Chandra Bose appears 🔥🔥🔥 Goosebumps!! And when Rani Lakshmibai fought so bravely 🙌🙌 This tribute is just too beautiful! 🇮🇳

One fact: Generel Dyer was brought to justice by Sardar Udham singh but what about those hundreds of boot licker Indian policemen who fired on the order of Dyer.

I literally got tears rolling from my eyes when Rani Lakshmi Bai came.. 😭😭😭
Edit - again 2nd time when amar sonar bangla started.. 😭
3rd time - Jalianwalabagh massacre😭
And finally when Shubhash Chandra Bose arrived.. 🥺
Our hard earned freedom
Yes, Maratha Queen Rani Laxmi Bai carried her son on her back while fighting..
I think she was maharashtrian but not maratha.
@@garimakilledar5810 nope she was a maratha queen jhansi and lot of small kingdoms was a part of maratha confederacy the fighters where maratha warriors

@@garimakilledar5810 Maharashtrian and Marathas were same in those times. Anyone who fought for Swaraj was considered as Maratha irrespective of caste.
Only now Maratha is a caste. By today's logic she was from a Marathi Brahmin family.
She was not maratha queen. She waged war also when her son's right on throne was unaccepted by British otherwise she had never tried to revolt
The number of times i got goose bumps while watching this video is more than while reading this in books. Wasn't able to control my tears while watching those sacrifices given by our ancestors. Heads off to all the people who participated in making our country independent. Jai hind Jai bharat...

Indian queens are legendary, there are several warrior queens throughout the history. There were records by Marco polo an Italian traveler telling stories in Italy about the Queen of Telugu Kakathiyas Rani Rudramadevi Original and Rightful queen to have the Kohinoor aka Shiva Mani which could be the main reason why the England queen has the diamond in her crown still... 😂
Many Queens and Kings ruled this great land from all areas it is impossible to know all about them.

"The tryst with destiny " speech, always gives me goosebumps. That was the moment India was finally free. The movement was a collective effort, everyone stood together ,that's why we won. Don't let anyone divide us now.
"At the stroke of the midnight hour when the whole world sleeps, India will awake to light and freedom".
I knew all the freedom fighters depicted, I was taught about all of them.
If we were free why we got dominion status. If free why our first governor general was brit? Why our soldiers had to report to brit officers? Things are not so happy. There are many dark things which the public don't know. it was not independence.
@@mtk3755 i am glad PPL watching these reaction videos too r aware. It was mere transfer of power due to heavy losses to British after WW2. This is really an amazing animated video that creates goosebumps and fills every Indian's heart with pride, joy and sadness as well. The creator mentioned the name Assam but I want to add more names of freedom fighters, who are from Assam and equally contributed. Foremost name is Kanaklata Baruah, just a 17 years old girl and she took bullet while hoisting Indian flag and died on the spot. Other freedom fighters are Gopinath Bordoloi, Jyoti Prasad Agarwala, Maniram Dewan, Kushal Konwar, Hem Barua (Tyagbir), Bhogeswari Phukanani. Other prominent freedom struggle unsung heroes from Northeast India are Major Paona Brajabashi, Bir Tikendrajit Singh, Rani Gaidinliu (13 years old Naga girl), Haipou Jadonang, U Tirot Sing Syiemlieh, Moje Riba, U Kiang Nangbah, Pa Togan Sangma. And the list of names doesn't stop here, there are many more. 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
My eyes red and cheek wet..what an emotional ride
Glad to know i am not th only one who cried watching this tribute. This literally bought tears to my eyes having read so many of these events in our history books and now watching it come to life really teared me up.
The part where peasants were struggling to pay the salt tax and the part where lala lajpat rai was brutally murdered in Lathi Charge, jallianwalla bagh massacre, the peaceful satyagraga protestors were gunned down unarmed..and so many other events got me. Oh man, makes you really think- our freedom came at such a huge price. So, many lives were destroyed so that we could live ours free.
From Rani Lakshmi Bai to Netaji SC Bose, you all have my utter respect. Jai Hind.

Most historical accounts of the Indian freedom struggle start with 1857 ignoring the wars against the Portuguese and the Brits that took place before that. Rani Laxmibai is the only queen spoken about when there were several queens who led their armies from the front. Instead of trying to learn more about these, there are children in the comments section fighting about which freedom fighter was better.
S, off course.well said.there r thousands of unsung heroes.
They sacrificed their everything just for the next generation we should make them feel proud
They did not show how we exactly got freedom, they abruptly stopped after disbandment of Indian national army.
Yes. We still have to work a lot to have a right history in the mainstream media.
yeah because of confliction between hindu muslim and their partion would make the ending not this great.
Exactly and whole netaji death story was brushed off. Also the muslim league protests and voting about partition. Not accurate at all
Exactly. They forgot the Indian Naval Mutiny that killed hundreds of brit soldiers which then forced Brits to give up.
@@TheB657 they did not forget they are following NCERT history written by the Congress
It was a great video but I'm a little sad not to see the events of the INA trials at Red Fort and the Royal Indian Navy Mutiny of 1946
These two events were the final nails in the coffin of the British Raj in India
Yes and even not just mentioned of swatantraveer Savarkar.
The world needs to talk more about the sufferings of Indians. The amount of brutal shit the British did on our land should is insane and the west are hardly taught about a single thing. TBH we are still suffering just because of them and we are still a 'developing' nation just because of them and they have absolutely 0 remorse.

That lady is Queen Rani laxmi bai... who fought with her dead kid on her back... she gave tough time to Britishers they killed her by decieving and cheating.... She is a legendary figure in Indian History...

Sorry guys.... It's 100 years before Mangal Pandey...In
1750's. An independent queen Velu Nachiyar from SIVAGANGAI southern district of TAMILNADU..
who fought against British and she's the only monarch who got back her territories by smashing the British Army force.....
Usually I avoid crying but I don't know why eyes are full with tears right now. The most important thing about this video is that they are not glorifying only some particular personalities like bhagat singh, netaji etc to humiliate the contribution of other freedom fighters like aruna asaf ali, pandit Nehru, c. Rajagopalachari, tilak, gandhiji etc because unfortunately this has become a trend specially in some sections of North india. We must understand that the freedom of a country with 370 million people could never achieve without the collective effort of every section of society. Every one has their own contribution in our freedom struggle so one is smaller or bigger than anyone
Sam man
Yes....soo true every contribution either little or large paved our way to free India.....every freedom fighter even their family who withstood the courage of letting their child do something for the Nation is Respectfull.🥲❤️🇮🇳
Manikarnika movie of Kangana Ranaut is based on the real story of Rani Lakshmi Bai.
And then kangna sits on national tv and says "hame aazadi bheek me mili thi , asal azaadi toh 2014 me mili"😭☠️

The amount of details given to show the sides of gandi and the time spend with Subhas ji is just one example of our manipulative history.
Factss
Bro atleast itne sensitive topic mein to critics na nikal. Kuchh to chhodr do yrr atleast Gandhi ji came back to India and Subhash ji made an efforts outside India.
Aaj ki generation hoti to kbhi India vapis na aati or na India k bahar army develop krne ka jazba rkhti. Chahe history manipulative ho ya jo bhi chahe unka contribution thoda ho ya jyada bt h to na unke saath saath kaafi or freedom fighters ki vjh se hi aaj tum free India mein ho to plzzz yrrr plzzzz be greatfull.

This is by far the most unbiased and correct history anyone can narrate. Kudos to Annu Kapoor for being honest in today's times when everyone is following a right wing agenda and distorting history and insulting Gandhi ji and so many Muslim leaders!! We fought this battle togethe.Everyone contributed in their own way!
