Nalanda International University too....destroyed by Bakhtiyar Khilji

    • @aman___004
      @aman___004 4 года назад +44

Get your facts right. Takshashila was abondoned in 5th century AD whereas Mughals came in 16th🙄 British and Mughals had nothing to do with the destruction of Takshashila, to be specific. Actually, it was British archaeologist Sir Alexander Cunningham who rediscovered it's ruins in mid 19th century!
Edit: I meant it was particularly not the 'Mughals' who destroyed the Nalanda university and Takshashila University. They were destroyed even earlier than Mughals, by other Muslim fanatics. Mohammed Bin Qasim was one such zealot who destroyed Nalanda University to showcase the power of ISLAM. History has been replete with examples of such Muslim fanatics who have destroyed our institutions of learning and worship, and moreover erected mosques over them as a sign of victory of Islam over Sanatan Dharma. The latest one was that rascal Aurangzeb. Today's Muslims should not associate themselves with those Turks and Uzbeks because they're not their real ancestors. Today's Muslims should not take pride in the destruction of dharma caused by those invaders.

4:53 NO, not slaves. The king who built it Raja raja Cholan had inscribed extensively the names of all the paid workers so far as including the names of even the barbers who cut the workers hair. Fun fact: The 80 ton structure atop the gopuram carries the inscription of an old lady's name who voluntarily brought buttermilk to quench the worker's thirst everyday
This is in stark contrast to Shah Jahan who had the hands of the workers cut off after they built him the Taj Mahal 😶

@Psilocybe Vibe If you do not know anything then do you think you have the right to judge the "ancient people"? You seem like a fool without even knowing the case. Well, here it is,
King Narasimhadeva built this temple to dedicate it to God Suryadev. The temple was not built for common people in the beginning. And the temple is also known as “Black Pagoda” due to its dark color and used as a navigational landmark by ancient sailors to Odisha. The magnetic effect of the lodestone was so strong that it caused disturbance in the ship's compasses those passed by the coast (Konark being a major port at that time), thus making the navigation very difficult for the sailors. To save their trade and their ships, the Portuguese sailors destroyed the temple and took away the lodestone. The removal of the lodestone leads to the collapse of the main temple structure. Currently, nobody knows where the magnet is. They took it down because they said it was pulling the planes. The sea receded back and now people go there.

I live in Odisha where the Sun Temple is located, some more facts about the Sun Temple that the video didn't show..
    1. The Chariots in the Temple are not only Sundials it also has moon dials, using which u can calculate time precisely upto seconds.
    2. 1200 craftsman worked for 12 years to construct the temple.
    3. Even after 12 years they couldn't complete the Top portion of the temple. The son of the chief Mason who wasn't born when his father left his home when he was born, came to meet his father with some berries from their garden so that his father will recognize him. His name wad Dharmapada, he sacrified his life after completing the top portion of the temple by jumping into the sea.
    3. The large Magnet at the top of the temple used to distrot the compasses used by navigators even miles away in the sea.. The Britishers Vandalized the temple so that they can navigate easily.

These are just samples.we have thousands like these.even more beautiful and mysterious than these.
But the irony is what hindu-jain-buddhist temples we can witness now in India & south-east asia are the remaining 10%...90% temples have been destroyed mostly by Islamic invaders(atleast 40,000 temples have been destroyed in 600 years of north-indian islamic rule) and then by Britishers and Portuguese.
Now think how cruel they were who destroyed these architectural masterpieces just because of their religious bigotry.
Even in last 70 years, thousands of hindu & budhhist temples have been destroyed in Pakistan , Bangladesh,Afghanistan,Indonesia,Malayasia,Iran , Iraq.
Our ancestors build them with all of their wealth and hardwork.
And they destroyed these as its their religious fantasys.

I have seen the kailasa temple. Amazing unbelievable. Entire temple chiselled out of a mountain. Also see Madurai meenakshi temple. It's beautiful...

  • @justdorecipes2664

The most interesting fact of brihadeeshwara temple is, no disaster or anything can never and ever shake the temple. It sustains until the world exists. The temple is fully surrounded with sand for few kms and also depth under the basement. So that even earthquake occurs, even if the temple shakes it comes to it normal position. This big temple has only 5ft of foundation(I think so). The temple was built with tones of granite but there is no single granite quarry in surrounding area. It is based on dravidian architecture which is highly complicated. Not only these 5 temples, there are many temples which is unique in it's own way and many mysteries are hidden in it. Our ancestors are great scholars who are very intelligent than this generation. Others copied there inventions and discoveries. Majority of things went from india only but they got the patent. Very proud to be an indian, especially hindu

Yeah...actually J.K.Rowling was inspired by this vault B when she was in India, so u can guess what her real inspiration was. And that name 'Nagini,' its an Indian word too even Jwala & Parvati, Moreover the concept of 'Horcrux';dividing your soul is also an ancient Indian concept... She was really so much inspired by India

The veerabhadra temple also called lepakshi temple has a unique history....in the ramayana when Jatayu the bird tries to stop ravana frm kidnapping sita n ravana cuts his wing off he falls at this place...that's why it's called lepakshi which means fallen bird.
