No mention of tape on legs in lieu of aero-sock. Primary reason I have heard is that it saves time in transition because tape gives about the same amount of aero dynamic advantage without the need to deal with aero-socks in T1 transition or during the swim.
Bottle placement and reach of the positions were the most interesting take home. I assume they're using the bottles to substitute the body shape changing bottles down the front of the suit in previous years. Please do more of these. I love the geekiness .
I'm not sure what his actual angle is. But getting hands that close depends on exactly what setup you're using. You're right that our angled spacers can help! But I don't think his overall angle is too extreme.
looks like both laidlow and lange were running contis, laidlow definitely had the aero up front, maybe lange too, but too hard to see on the pics above. would be interesting to know how many adopted it. biggest benefit IMO is the cross wind stability more so than the aero benefit
Love the content! Would love to see more of any triathlon setups, maybe the women as well! The technology is changing so fast and it’s very nice to see it analyzed. The pros keep it fairly hush
Laidlow was SO far forward. As someone who primarily TTs, this really shocked me. I’m sure it’s fast BUT, apart from being unsafe, it must place huge stress on the shoulders and quads.
Exactly, much more forward than l'ange but it might be just this photo. The whole setup is all slammed forward but on top of that on this photo it looks like Hé just pu his assez one the tip of the saddle.
Great video! I have a suggestion…What about bike size and athlete height? Saddle position and seat post length? Athlete flexibility, crank length? Position relative to the pedal stroke? Keep up the cool videos! Thanks!
I find that canyon setup interesting with the complete closed arm cups - can us normal people achieve something close to that with TriRig components. I’m in the process of buying a new tri bike and was wondering if the Ultimate SL scoops provide a similar aero benefit?
TT bikes should be banned. Put everyone on road bikes for safety and the strongest riders will still win. Anyone who disagrees has never, or is yet to come off. Chris Froome’s career was ended on a TT bike. Many talented athletes from lower socio economic areas will never enter the sport due to the absurd cost of these bikes.

Very cool! I haven't heard much about the concept, I'll definitely take a look. Thanks for the heads up!
Awesome analyze and depth review... Perfect video, exactly what we expect from TriRig!!! ❤
Awesome! Love to see more of this! Top 10 perhaps. Overlays between riders would be cool too.
Great idea! We might have to look into that 🙂
Great analysis!

Yes please more of these videos. ❤
Great video. Thanks! Can you comment on the shin tapes that Sam and Marcus are wearing, please? How do they compare to calf sleeves?
Wurf and Foley! Wurf setup seems more simple compared to the ones in your video ( minus of course the crazy $$ bike )
Nobody wearing aero socks but looks like two guys wearing K-tape to trip the wind. Does that get most of the benefit?
What angle is Laidlows extension? You need like angled spacers for that hands close to the face look right?

What type of tires, size, and pressure are they running nowadays?
Cheers, thanks for the info.!

How do you not even mention the trip strips on their legs?
Definitely love this. Very interesting details
The cost to be competitive in this sport is RIDICULOUS!!
Love these types of videos
ditlev very nice aerobottle at the back
What a wonderful video thank you

What’s on their legs
Tape

ERO sports have found at least one rider is faster with them.
Would love to see an analysis of crank arm length, chain ring size & cassette
look also at Chevalier position
His was done without wind tunnel testing according to protri news.
Awesome video , the bikes used are like Formule 1 and aerodynamics positions too
but for swim and run :just your arms and your legs ....
Noice
Extremely interested in crank lenght over here!
Video about worst pro setups would be fun😅
Would love for your next video to be showcasing all the tririg components used at this Kona
That third position is surprising to get the record. I get that it's narrow, but it looks so high. Back is so far from flat
Make TOP 10 please ! But give more details. Thanks a lot
do a top 10!
There are so many similarities between these riders. I would be interested in seeing someone that stood out, for better or worse
Go over Foley since he would have went sub 4 hour without the crash
Laidlow looks very far forward, like 5-6 inches more than Lange.
You don't hear too many men talking with vocal fry like this guy.
