    Hi everyone! I hope that you all had a great start to your school year. If you are looking for software internships, you're definitely in the right place. Over the last few years I've learned a lot about how to get a software internship and I wanted to share that with you. Much of the advice I've gotten was from my peers and their shared experiences, I will be sharing all of this information in a weekly email starting in February! If you want to join there will be a link in the description box. I hope you found this video helpful and goodluck on all your applications !

    imposter syndrom is taking a toll on me :( I am graduating this semester and I feel like I am so left behind in comparison to everyone else. My 3 years of college were very tough so I didn't do much to prepare myself for the job market outside of school. I am not confident enough in my skills and I'm not sure if I will be able to secure a entry level job or even land an internship after I graduate. Thanks a lot for the tips ! These were all super helpful. There are many tricks I was not aware of, I will be subscribing to hopefully learning more from you !

    One of my main concern is if I could still get a job or even intern without any degree at all...

    • @sarahliyt
      @sarahliyt  2 месяца назад +1

      I would say it would be more difficult in this market to find one without a degree 😞

      @@sarahliyt I just enrolled to bcit web dev cert program. Not sure how much that will help. I guess in the meantime I’ll look for freelance job since I was lucky enough to had 2 clients, so might be easier to gain work exp from freelancing.

    great content, just wondering if using pythong for leetcode can be an issue when applying for roles with typescript or golang?

    • @sarahliyt
      @sarahliyt  4 месяца назад +1

      typically the interviewer will let you know ahead of time what language they want you to code in! so if they let you choose any language, choosing python won’t be an issue :)

    75 Neetcode questions ? bruh isnt that a bit less ? dont take it otherwise, I mean in my country these tech companies ask cp level questions😿

      haha i think generally for internships this will b enough but there’s no harm in doing more

      I used python for leetcode practice because it’s shorter syntax make it faster to answer problems !
