Carlos Vega was The Best, period!
He was a Huge Influence on my playing even to this day, even if I am not playing drums anymore. He with Jeff were miles ahead from Steve Gadd and all the so called hyper-technical players (apart from Vinnie Colaiuta, but He is E.T. and belongs to another world).
Less is more? Indeed it is.
May God Bless Them wherever They are. God is a very lucky Guy, now They are playing just for Him.
Thanks Mr. Garfield not only for your Immense Contribution to Music, but also to remember a Legend such as Carlos.
Always never forgotten!
C.A.😪
Saw you guys in Berlin twice, 2000 and 2001 with Neil, Mike and Vinnie. Thank you Dave for the great musik and your kindness all over the years! Love you all!❤
I moved to LA 1987 and was already a huge fan of Karizma and the Greg Mathieson stuff from the Baked Potato so I just couldn't wait to experience it live.
I saw some 50 shows with variations of Karizma, Los Lobotomy's etc over the years and it's by far the most humbling and educational journey of my life.
Thank you David (and all the musicians) for endless hours of joy 😍
Excellent!
Such a treat to see all these guys. Thank you for sharing the many local parts that I missed as a kid down the street in L.A
Quality music of the highest order!
Thanks for sharing. I remember the comeback inn, the lighthouse, the redondo beach venue, baked potato. What a time to live brotha David.
Wonderful viewing..a very nice surprise! I'm really enjoying the M.I. 'Pop Rock Keyboards' book and audio tracks..amazing stuff. Thank you!

This is amazing!! Thank you for this!!
Hi David,
I’ve had the great pleasure of seeing you guys play at Alvas studio in San Pedro on quite a few occasions.
I’ve also seen you play at the Catalina Bar and Grill.
I’m a big fan and you never disappoint.
I hope to see you all play again soon.
Thanks for all the great memories!🎶💙
Great stuff! 😛
Thanks for the wonderful trip down memory lane, David! I can so relate to what Toshi said “listening to Rizma at the Potato was ‘my school.’” Me too! 🙏🏻😎
👍👍👌
So so so awesome bring out those luke and jeff rehearsal gigs or studio…. I know you have em in a shoebox somewhere brother. This made my day. ❤️❤️❤️
I was in Grad school early 80's, wanted so bad to see Karizma. Hate to say it, the cover charge kept me away. I just had money for school. Dog Cheese was around at the time also, that was anther lineup I missed.
