- On August 13th, 2023, We made our return to Reading & Northern for the Iron Horse Rambles with T-1 4-8-4 2102. The Locomotive pulled a decent size consist heading for Jim Thorpe providing a good show for the riders on board and for photographers and videographers trackside. While 2102 had the layover in Jim Thorpe, the RBMN F Units were out running trips into the Lehigh Gorge. Since we last scene these excursions, you will also see some coaches that were recently repainted and put into service. Now Lets follow the 2102 on the Iron Horse Rambles to Mauch Chunk, PA or known as Jim Thorpe. Enjoy!

An amazing video of Reading 2102. Keep up the awesome work
What I love about some of these shots is that they look almost perfectly historical. Apart from a couple of streamliner cars on the train and a couple of minor details, this could nearly have been mistaken for a Korean War-era troop train (the T1s were too late to really serve during World War II, but from what I've read they DID move U.S. servicemen in the late 40s and early 50s to assist in the occupation of Germany or perhaps get them on their way westward to Far East Asia). Fantastic work filming this.
Incredible job! Some of these shots almost look like they could have been filmed in the early 1950s.
It was nice getting to see you again at East Mahanoy Junction. Wish we could've had more time to chat.
Amazing video man!! It was nice meeting with you!!
You too!
Great video, and the shot above Nesquehoning tunnel!! Good seeing you trackside again, I'll be up for the Labor Day weekend run.
Same here. See you soon.
Awesome job!!! Great seeing you there!!!
Great work Ethan!
