Not his best performance but you seem to confuse tempo and groove with just a bad balance of sound. It was recorded with a phone; what do you expect? As far as tempo if anything it is a bit slower than most of his performances of this tune.
@@spercoco actually he's got a right hip replacement not too long ago and he cant walk without a clutch or something.... so maybe he is still recovering...
Billy Barnett, you've listened to Spectrum ? So obviously Cobham has been, at best, an inspiration to you or at least a source of uplifting entertainment. So why would you publicly show disrespect to a performer who provided you with that ?
@@ranuldesilva4813 Well he is pushing 80 yo so he is not going to have the same intensity he did when he was with Mahavishnu; then he was an animal. But too many people judge the "groove" by sound quality. If we were listening to a professional recording of this same performance (minus the stick drop close to the beginning) it would sound right in the pocket.
