A combination of illness and other commitments mean there's no full length trip report this weekend. Sorry! But here's something for the train enthusiasts - a full length ride over the full 1.5 miles on the delightfully English miniature train at Exbury Gardens. The UK has a plethora of narrow gauge and miniature railways like this, beautifully preserved by enthusiasts.

this is lovely..and although there were no Sunflowers in the garden there were lots of flowers in the sun! ^_^ thanks for the tour, and I do love trains,no matter what size.

I would be in train heaven if I was able to ride this😆😆😆😆😆😆. I adore trains always had ever since I was a toddler. I have been on all of the CTA L Lines and all but one and one branch line on Metra and I have been on The South Shore Line to South Bend and back and Amtrak Hiawatha to Milwaukee and back and Amtrak Cardinal when I moved back to Chicago from Cincinnati when I was 5 or 6 years old. I've also been on Amtrak Illinois Service but not all the way to the end of the line. I'm trying to plan a trip on Amtrak Lincoln Service to St Louis and back just for fun but I'm in a situation where I can't unfortunately do it.
