Well done. I look forward to your videos, keep up the good work!
Thank you Kevin 🙂👍
Great to see again stayed on a farm on the line last year, walked it last year for the first time since I first did it back in the 1980's . Great video thanks.
It is a lovely area, thank you for the kind words 🙂
Another great, well researched video.
It was a tragedy that so much of the IOW rail network was closed.
Yarmouth station and signalbox are so well preserved. I can't wait for the next part.
Thank you! Fingers crossed the weather will hold off 🙂👍
Another great video. Well researched and very well presented. This line passed through the lesser well known parts of the Island and as you say was very rural in parts. Keep up your good work.
Very kind of you to say, thank you so much 🙂
Im not watching your vlogs in the order you made them. Im just binge watching all 8. By conincidence im slowly getting through them.
Thanks hope you enjoy 🙂👍
Thanks for sharing and I look forward to part 2. 🍓🧶🌈💙
Thank you Jenny, hopefullt part 2 will he out very soon if the weather holds off 🙂
After your earlier attempt you had quite a good day to make this video! There always is a certain romanticism about the course of a disused railway - what was and might have been, and the ephermal nature of love. You'll have happy memories of making these videos when you are old and grey! Thanks for uploading.
Hello. Yes it is and we do love walking them, there is something very tomantic about the way nature always reclaims forgotten industry we think. Thank you for your comment and all the best 🙂
Part 2 of this video is now up, here's the link below 🙂

Thank you Graham! We hope so too 🙂
Love all your vlogs so far. Very well sourced and documented.
Thank you Daz very kind of you to say! 🙂
Excellent video. I must go back to Yarmouth and admire the station. I haven't been for over 20 years. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the line now. Keep up the good work!
Thank you John, it is a lovely walk for sure 🙂
Sad parts of the track have disappeared under farmland. It would have made a good cycle path to Newport.
It is unfortuante, perhaps if it shut a bit later on more of it would have been saved. Thank you for watching 🙂
Great work 👏 👍
Thank you 🙂
You are quite right: the road overbridge at the east end of Ningwood station was removed years ago (but I can't remember exactly when)
Well done guys great video! Thanks for sharing
Thank you 🙂
Someone should have a word with Bembridge ive seen claims that it's the biggest village in England, that comes a bit unstuck when you consider freshwater makes it not even the biggest village on the isle of wight (pop ~3500 v pop ~7500)
Stumbled across this and love it... hope it's ok to share to Freswater & Totland Arhcive Group @West Wight Heritage Centre. where there's more info?
Hello Polly. Absolutely that would be super and thank you for the kind words 🙂
They've done such an amazing job with Off the Rails it's hard for me to tell where the original station building ended and the extension begins. Thanks for another interesting video, I always wondered where the line went after Yarmouth
Absolutely, certainly one of the best preserved stations we've ever visited. Thank you very much for the kind words 🙂
