But then he gets to a serious note and he says some things like "rushing into danger for others is my definition of patriotism and heroism" and proceeding to thank the free press. And the rest of the world has to just accept what will happen in the U.S., despite the fact that it will heavily affect everything. From the fight against climate change to rising tensions everywhere. It is unbelievable any day, that pseudo-dictatorships are even on the menu in a "functioning" democracy. But even more so with such instability on earth, that people wouldn't favor less risk over their own puny selfish concerns.
