DEVELOPER MODE in Cities: Skylines 2 (ANARCHY & MODS)

This video shows how to turn on the developer mode in Cities: Skylines 2. When enabled, you can modify the weather, adjust places assets and surfaces, and enable anarchy mode in order to place things in your game that are normally disabled. You can also place game objects that are only found as part of other game assets.
This may seem like you are enabling cheats, but some of these tools are great to use to get a cinematic camera shot, or create unique scenarios. Until the Paradox Mods shop becomes available, Developer Mode will be the best way to get mod functionality.

works beautifully , however , how do i plop assets inside a any specialized insdustry areas , using the bypass validation results only works on anything thats not a specialized industry , for context i want to decorate a ore mining area with cranes crates trucks and all of that stuff

Placing cars was a mistake. They may not crash the game, but once I place them they try to drive off, but eventually get stuck and cause a traffic jam and will not disappear.

Try restarting the game. If that doesn’t work go into your keybinds in-game and at the bottom the two dev mode keybinds will be there. Maybe they are on different keys

Thanks mate, it does work. However, it only works once for me. I'll tap home, get the menu, can make edits etc, then when I close it it doesn't open again when I press home. Restarting the game leads to the same thing, I can only open and close it once. Any idea why this might be the case?

I'm not sure. I've had it both ways, where it only opens once or it can open many times. I don't know what causes it, but once Paradox Mods comes out someone will probably make a mod to fix that

Yeah, I was disappointed in that. I assume it is some internal setting on how the props are layered. Someone will have to create a separate mod when the Paradox Mods comes out
