from the first time I saw a puffin It just struck me as a wonderful bird, It gives the appearance to me as a bird that's strong and built well, also dignified in some strange way, and after seeing a great photo of one with a meal of small fish in it's beak I kind of knew that those where attended to feed their young so I added a good parent to the list, hope I don't find out otherwise. I think officially it's my favorite bird if not animal, Well Post Note- I find magpies just a wonderful funny and darn smart bird also. Hey, You Tube, How about a magpie cam? Thank you.

Explore Films. Exactly! At first she carefully positions the egg in such a way so the chick is still able to breathe while she sits on it. Later on she gives it the space it needs to break free as she carefully covers it with her wing tip to keep it warm. I love how she looks at it when it is almost completely shell free.
