i think we should take care of animals but overall, human life is more important that animal life. Don’t get me wrong, animals are very important, but not more important than humans are.

BrittleCalm not really. if we see animals as important, we won’t try to kill them just to kill them but only if we need to. Humans are way more important than animals but that doesn’t mean we should just cause every species to go extinct.

Sadly they are hunted as food. If you can stomach it Andrew Zimmerman does a show of a group that eats them. Im not some nutty conservationist but it bothered me so as I just love them. But I guess suck is the story of all animals , beautiful majestic and still dinner

Puffins are great, intelligent and tender birds. Pity they are getting endangered!!! Like the lady, I saved several of them. One you are friends with them, they keep coming back every year!

+The Brofessor Puffins are indeed endangered. They are greatly under threat & depleting in numbers rapidly each Year!
+Showdown Corvids are the same in remembering if You're a Friend or enemy. They're super friendly when They get to know You're there to help them. Crows, Rooks & Ravens etc & magpies too & Jackdaws come to mention it. I feed them all in the clearing near My House every evening when it's still light & They know when I'm arriving & call to each other. They flock around Me. It took a long time to gain their trust because They're very cautious of Humans, understandably so

Pam Pam at first i thought its a wrong move to take the bird home after medication and was a little angry at her but she found out that the puffin was blind so i felt guilty by judging her

Imagine that douche who said to put this bird down and how much that person getting paid. Som beech. God blezz this woman for staying strong and keeping open mind.
The vet realizes that a Puffin is not supposed to be a pet, so they would not put him in a shelter, and they either A) Had no room for him or B) Already knew he would suffer and die a slow death of starvation/being eaten alive. Vets are paid nicely because they save animals lives, but if the animal has no chance of making out in the wild they will let it die peacefully instead of just throwing it back out on the street.

Puffins were my favourite bird when I was a child. It is heartwarming to see this. All creatures deserve love and care.

There's hardly any semblance at all. Dodos were related to pigeons, were flightless and living on dry land, feeding on fruit, seeds and other stuff on the ground while puffins are auks, seabirds, that can fly and catch fish by diving into the water. Don't tell me you believe dodos look like the thumbnail of this channel and didn't even bother to check.

Puffins look alot like Dodos. Sad about Mundi being blind. So grateful he has this wonderful earth angel to take care of him and keep him safe. Many blessings to them both =♡=

I am so sad to have read Mundi PASSED AWAY almost TWO years ago. He lived a very wonderful last year of his life with her. He became a media superstar and the comments on his passing were so great. I have wondered how he managed to live before she adopted him. They have a lifespan of around 20 years so I wonder if his injury caused his blindness?

Maybe he lost his sight when he lost part of his beak and ability to fly. Maybe he was through accident.

I recently saw a video of a woman who adopted a fox cub that was born in a pelt farm. The cub could not be rewilded and she took it on as a pet, and gave it a great life. I honestly think, if you have the inclination to look after an animal that can not make in the wild by itself, don't feel any moral issue about giving it a good life, just do it.
