- See me at @f100inc on Instagram... These recently revealed photographs are courtesy of Marlon Reid whose father took these pictures on the factory assembly line. These are very rare pictures and are used with Mr. Reid’s permission. Please look and enjoy at the subtle cues of the paint section of the assembly line.
Music by SSI. 👍
It is cool seeing trucks like my 68 being built
Thank you for posting here
Very welcome.
Very cool, I’d love to see any actual film footage
Me as well, that would be great. . .
The young dark headed guy, could very easily painted our truck!
We have a 1969 Ford F350 27 foot Vista Liner Olympus C Class Motorhome, and you could be looking at the guys who helped build it!
Very Cool. . .
Actually, I think there may be a mix of '67 and '68 trucks here. Time stamp 0:06 (yellow truck) shows a single bolt inspection plate on the cab corner ('67's used 4 bolt covers, '68 & '69 trucks used the single bolt cover), but time stamp 1:31 (red truck) looks it could have a 4 bolt cover (but this is really hard to see). Plus, time stamp 1:45 to 1:55 seems to show the larger radio opening of the '68/69 trucks (versus the smaller '67 radio opening), along with the opening for the "slider-type" heater controls.
Still, cool stuff! Thanks for posting!
Glad you looked closely and discovered some differences. . .
I saw you posted these on Facebook on one of the bumpside groups.
Wesley Parker Hi Wesley, I did not post these pictures on Facebook, a man from Canada did and approved of me using these pictures in this video. I had several conversations with him and he was cool with the video as long as I put some finished trucks at the end. If you were like me, I flipped out when he posted these pictures. They are epic in my opinion.
Joe R I love these photos. I saw them on Facebook someplace. they are absolutely stunning
Wesley Parker You are correct, they were on Facebook, that is where I saw them as well and reached out to him....
Yikes, spraying those trucks with little to no mask. Crazy. I wonder how many lived to a healthy old age.
Agreed!
Only one person was wearing one
I'll take a red one!
Such great colors back then, make mine Acapulco Blue or Lunar Green ❤️
@@MrJones-918 l own a 69 f-100 short wide bed in Acapulco blue, original color. I've owned it for almost 40 years.
I would be curious to know the name of the man at 0.32 - 0.37 looks like my uncle who worked at Ford in Ohio during this period.
I have a 67 short bed 100 Ford I would love to see it in new condition I drive every day it is three speed on the Calum with a 352 motor
Amazing you drive every day, great trucks!
Mine is a 67 Ranger. full size bed. 352 runs great. But don't ever under any circumstances mention gas mileage.
It's been said that saying Ford FE engine and mileage in the same sentence is bad grammer. It's also rude.
I still use it as a work truck, but only when I need a truck, instead of my van. It's too expensive to drive every day.
how would you like to get your fingers on all that virgin vintage metal HELL YEAH !!!
No mask…No problem..Imron paint.
Unreal. . .
All these pictures were obtained from FORDification.com at the following link, which includes a writeup by the photographer and his son.

Keith Dickson, these did not come from your site. As stated, I received these pictures from Mr. Reid who gave them out freely. I have all the conversation to back this statement. I would not take your pictures without your permission. I have much respect for you and your site and have even donated to it. If you have some type of rights to these pictures, please let me know. This video was shown to Mr. Reid prior to uploading in 2018. Feel free to contact me, thanks.
@@f100inc3 Sorry, I mean to simply point people to where they could download the individual pics if desired and to read the related write-up. You're fine. 👍
@@keithdickson2935 Cool, sorry for the misunderstanding, take care. . .
