@@medicostudy101 Hi. Thank you for your words. Thal. kids are inspiration indeed. And yes, we thal patients had problems due to Covid. Blood was not available and donors were hesitant to come forward to donate. Plz spread a word to ppl to donate blood Sir.
Well done Dr. Chirag. Thank you for your calmness and patience in explaining this concept. I am a doctor and it's been very difficult remembering these details but your video has finally made it very easy for me. Thanks a lot
Sir, In Sickle Cell Anaemia,we often use 24 and 26 Gauge of cannulas in adults as its quite difficult to find good peripheral veins..☺ Sir your videos are very simple and easy to understand for a nurse like me..and love your presentation skill..Hats off 👏 ❤
awesome vedio sir thanku so much for this. i am making notes from ur vedios, when i was 2year ( nursing student ) i had also made mnemonic to remember these angiocath sizes for viva i.e OGGPBYP . NOW I AM preparing for job interveiw by ur awesome vedio
I’m so delighted to read that comment!! This gives me the motivation to upload more & more educational stuff for all of you guys! Thank you so much for those incredible words! 🥰 You definitely made my day! ❤️
Thank you for this video. I would like to add a comment about the flowrate as mentioned at the packaging. This is the flowrate achieved through a free-flowing gravity infusion with water from a source 1m above the needle at normal atmospheric pressure. This flowrate is a value to compare needles with each other. Even though the color of needles/cannulas is the same, the following measures can be different: length and inner diameter. And if the outer diameter is equal, the inner diameter might differ because the wall thickness is not specified. So, to compare two different brands of needles/cannulas with same color, they will only perform the same if the stated flowrate is equal. May the stated flowrate be exceeded? Yes certainly: think about pressurized infusion bags, IV-pumps and power injectors in CT and MRI. (Here the flowrate can get even into the ml/sec ranges rather than ml/min or ml/hr.) The stated flowrate is not the maximum allowed value.
Thank you sir what a good lecture sir really impressed lot and lurned lot basically I also suffered lot to remember iv cannula sizes but I got good knowledge by seeing your video and sir please make a vidoe on scalp set and also needle size
