Hi Luke, I am a new subscriber and your videos are beautiful, calming, yet challenging. The latter makes me want to start hiking again. I chose this recent video to comment, but the "Hiking Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park" is what convinced me to subscribe. Thank You for your uploads. they mean a lot.

@@edyhekul I appreciate your time in responding. I've been battling cancer for many years. I guess I'm "living with cancer" versus the alternative. Your videos inspire me. I can sitill hike, which is a blessing. However, I have to remember my hike is a round trip. If you get exhausted on the initial hike, please (I'm addressing the others like me) sit and take a break. What helps our mental well-being is that we hiked this much. If we have to sit and rest, it's not a negative. You''ve hiked......no matter how far. We can make our own goals.........specialized to our situation,

That is lots of steps, the trees and the surrounding look so dry, no leaves nor grass, is it because of the season? I wonder if it is during spring time, may be there are wild flowers?
To Luke, which one is more tiring, this one or Mt. Kosciusko in Australia from Charlote Pass?

Looking at the snow piled up, it looks like it's winter. Hallasan Mountain turns completely green in spring or summer. You can also see various flowers. And in fall, you can see them changing into beautiful red, yellow, and various colors.

Yes, I hiked this right towards the end of winter. Just missed out on the Azaleas blooming in the springtime.
I would have to say this mountain was a little more challenging. The Charlotte Pass track is basically a road the whole way up, whereas this one several rocks to manoeuvre around. I found it particularly tiring going down the other side of the mountain (which I hope to show you in a future video). My legs were a little tender for 2 days or so 🫠
