Proud to say I built the "steeper than they look" stairs/railings at 8:20 to 9:32. The Slack Stairs were wooden ladders before we replaced them in 1987. We carried out the old metal railings too! Contrary to the comment at the end of the video, the "Wentworth Pass" track travels around the base of the cliff line to the Valley of the Waters, where you can exit at the Conservation Hut. That's if BMNP get organised and get these and other classic tracks re-opened.
@MGoose66 that's so awesome! Thank you for sharing this! I am happy to receive a comment from you.
Wow, I recently completed a Grade 5 hike but this is a different level of Grade 5. Well done on completing it and thanks for sharing!
Do you always hike by yourself, 😮
Wow 👍👍that wire on the ledge of that stone make the walk more interesting ,
Wow very nice beach , wonder 🤔, Okinawan must be not like going to the beach. Even using your phone it is still good 👍👍
At the more popular beaches, you have access to food, vending machines, etc. This could be a reason why it's not as popular, as well as there being a bit of a trek to get to the beach. Thank you for your feedback about the phone - I very much appreciate it! 😃
Love that boulders, but n o tall trees means no shade, it will be hot during summer
Yes, absolutely! Make sure to take plenty of water!
It’s beautiful scenery but Korea’s winter is too cold for me.
😆
I've been to Okinawa. It's interesting.
Yes, very interesting!
You've lost weight.
Really? 😬
@@edyhekul 😝
Nice video :)) love it❤
I'm happy to hear that. Thank you for watching 🙂
Nice to see what Okinawa is like, very tropical !
Hi Luke and friends watching from Australia it’s now 8-59pm first to view the beautiful beach and gardens, most enjoyable. 🦋🇦🇺✅
Glad to see a comment from you. Thank you for watching! 😃🇦🇺🌻
look so hot! sweaty.. oh god
Free sauna 🥵!
This walk is on my to do list - hopefully one day I get to do this walk. Looks so beautiful. Thank you for sharing
@@biancasadventures8463 Hi Bianca, I hope you do get there and walk it soon. The scenery is truly magnificent!
Content of your videos has got some potential to become big, but it requires more of an explanation, I dont think viewers dont have to know how you ve got there, but we would like to know whats Taroko national park, some explanations of trail. its love to know how its like by looking at it, but it seems to be real silence.
Thank you for your comment, and I very much appreciate your honest and constructive feedback here. In all my videos, I usually leave links in the video description that lead the viewer to further information about the places we visit. In my videos, I tend to focus mainly on presenting the views and sounds of the natural environment we see, rather than talking over this. I have thought about how I could incorporate more explanations in the videos without taking away from the above. However, I haven't quite figured it out yet, to be honest. Through feedback like yours, it allows me to focus on it more and problem solve. So thank you so much, and I look forward to further feedback from you as my videos evolve over time :)!
Definitely a beautiful walk I’m seeing on your video - thank you so much for sharing your videos; I always enjoy seeing your hiking adventures
Thank you so much, Bianca. I am quite pleased to hear this. Thank you for your support :)!
We have a lot of amazing spots in our country, thanks for promoting these beautiful areas. 🥾🥾🙏
We sure do! I'm very fortunate to be able to experience and film these beautiful places. I am also grateful for all the people watching. Thank you so much for your kind comment :)
Looks like such a lovely walk ❤
Yes, it's quite a beautiful part of the world. What part did you enjoy most?
Such an amazing walk eh??? ! I'm from Brisbane but was in Korea about two weeks ago. I did that walk and was so surprised at how much adventure you can have just a short metro ride from the centre of the bustling city of Seoul. It was the middle of the week and there were quite a few walkers; 80% of them would have been over 60 years. What a way to stay young. So the walk up was challenging and had amazing views. Which way did you go down?
Wow, we would have been there at the same time! Yeah, it's great. All these walks are so easily accessible from the metro line and so close to the hustle and bustle! The hiking demographic is interesting there :P but yes, it's good to see so many healthy and active people. I ended up going down the same way I came up. What about you? What part of this area did you see?
@@edyhekul We went up the main trail to Sinseondae Peak, then we followed the ridgeline north but bypassed the peaks on the 'Y Valley' detour. There wer a couple of other good viewing spots looking back over the main peaks and then the trail heads down a bit of a gully to the north. This track had very few people and some wild rock faces to climb down, including one that was basically a vertical descent on a rock face that got narrower and narrower. Thank goodness for the handrail system... and for an older Korean hiker waiting at the bottom who gestured to me to turn around and climb down backwards. Good advice. It was such a fabulous day out and beyond what I expected of such a park.
Beautiful scenery
It really is!
Absolutely beautiful ❤ One of the places I would love to go hiking
You are in a remote area of the country. The roads are not pave.
Thank you for your comment. Exploring the island was an enjoyable adventure.
Great Vid Bro You Captured it well
Thank you for your kind feedback. I very much appreciate it 😃
This is that place that I really want to go but not this season 😂
This weather may be a more memorable experience? 🤷♂️
Ah~~ Beautiful awesome scenery......
It really is!
Welcome to korea ~^^ when did you ride 도봉산~? Do you come to korea again ~? ^^ and Be careful at mountain especially when you take a picture..good luck~😅😅
Hello! I climbed this 도봉산 last Wednesday! What mountain should I climb next? 😃
@@edyhekulHi~Welcome to korea *^^* Yes Korea is a mountainous country all over the nation then I recommend you the 전라남도 province^^ ( Southwest province) There are also so many beautiful mountains... like mt. 월출,달마,두륜,천관,팔영...Go and enjoy the beautiful mountains with ocean views at the mountains ^^ of course I had been the beautiful mountains before ^^ Good luck and enjoy korean mountains I hope...😅😅
Tree garden , i wondered if in autumn those tree will turn red/yelow
May have to go back in autumn and have a look 🍂
I went there and made a video in the dry season. Such a huge difference. There was not much water when I went. WOW such a difference.
재미있게 보고가요!
Hi Luke you are sure hard to keep up with, beautiful scenery always look forward to your engaging videos, keep safe out there. 🥾🧗♂️🧑🦳🇦🇺
@sandragilbert8875 Hello Sandra 👋 nice to see another comment from you. Thank you for your feedback, I very much appreciate this. Stay safe out there too! 📹🪨🥾🌱🇦🇺
Old mate must be so fit! That climb didn't look easy. And he's sun safe wearing all his long sleeves and gloves. He is going to easily live to 100.
Yeah, he was flying up that mountain. Should we go a step ahead of sunscreen and start wearing sleeves too?
@edyhekul I think it all depends on conditions. Humidity and how shaded the track is makes a difference. As long as you reapply often I think it's OK.
@hptfalcon1683 totally agree. I'll stick to reapplying. Maybe the sleeves also help to hike faster in windy conditions? 😉
There was an article in my elementary school textbook about Sun Moon Lake.
What date was the trek
5th to 6th of March 2023.
Taiwan!!? looks incredible, enjoy! keep them videos coming
Make sure you check out Sunshine Great Mountain Trail. It’s right next to the Sun Moon Lake. Happy trip in Taiwan. Summer heat is very brutal. Drink lots of water and don’t get burnt.
I'll be sure to check it out! Thank you for commenting your tips - I very much appreciate it.
@@edyhekul The mountain I was referring to is called 水社大山. (Translate this webpage to get a basic idea: zh.wikipedia.org/zh-hans/%E6%B0%B4%E7%A4%BE%E5%A4%A7%E5%B1%B1). I was wondering if you’re using AllTrails. Download this app if you haven’t. Taiwan is home to 200+ mountains over 3,000 meters tall. If that sounds like a tall order. You can start by hiking in Yangmingshan (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yangmingshan) in Taipei. Have fun. BTW, I’m Tom. A Taiwan native who likes hiking in interesting places. This coming July I’ll be hiking in as many national parks in WA as I can (it’s winter, I’m aware). Anyways, enjoy your stay. Cheers.
Have a fascination with pagoda's too.. Your adventure videos are always top level Luke 🙂
I appreciate you, mate. Thank you 🙂
What a magnificent area, nice to know there are still SPECIAL places left on this planet a jewel of a place. 🥾🦜⭐️🧑🦳
Yes, I agree. This place is truly magical 🥾🌿✨️🙋♂️
It's a healing video. Enjoy!
🙌
As I’m new to your video hikes which I thoroughly enjoy, have you been hiking in the southern highlands my home town. 🥾🥾🧗♂️
I'm happy to hear that. Welcome to the channel, and thank you for your comment. I have travelled down the Southern Highlands a few times. However, I haven't done any hiking. Do you have any recommendations? 🥾🪨🐦🌱

Thank you for your kind comment :)
Wow, that is a beautiful spot. I loved it Luke ! So cold and wet in Sydney at the moment, and your video came at the right time ! Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it, Penny Plant :)
Your videos are fabulous, I enjoy bush walking from my lounge chair ... inspiration for getting out there. 🎉well done !
Thank you for hiking along :)
Wow what an amazing place, love how I feel like I’m walking with you, it seems a bit dry through it, does it get a lot of rain in these areas, there would be many tales to tell if those rocks, boulders could talk. 🪨🦜🦎🧑🦳✅
Japanese weather A bit nippy
I recommend you korean mountains like 북한산 도봉산 속리산 월출산 무등산 두타산 금정산....ha ha~~ Be careful and always good luck ~😅😅
Whilst the Grand Canyon in the good old 🇺🇸 may be larger. however ….. The Canyons of the Blue a mountains are 10x older. The rocks under the Blue Mtns are roughly about 470 million years old, Blue Mtns cover approx 11,400sq klm Blue Mtns National Park covers 2690 sq klm Highest elevation is Mt Werong at 1215m I believe the canyons and valleys of the Blue Mtns would be equally awesome if they were denuded with their rock formations and strata. Seeing as they are much older and have had time to grow vegetation, they have a beauty all their own, with many tracks and paths for everybody easy, moderate and active. Great place to visit for 2 or 3 days, too much to see and do all in one day, but if that’s all the time you have, start early and go for it.
Welcome to korea friend ~~!! You look very nice guy ~😅😅 Enjoy korea and good luck for you~!! 😅😅
Thank you very much, it’s awesome getting dizzy just watching it all. 🧑🦰✅
Thank you for your comment. I'm glad you enjoyed it 🙂
The most popular walk in the Bluey's , do you really need to give it more exposure, seriously this is "content'?
