Glutinous Rice Flour - 200 g
Rice flour - 100g
shelled and skinned peanuts/almonds - 150g
water 350ml
10 chinese red dates
Brown/coconut sugar - 170g
Walnut - 80-100g
Dried Longan - 20-30
Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
Banana leaves

How to hold the rice cake together without banana leaves? Parchment paper? Or Foil ok?
Great question! I would recommend first going to any asian grocery stores, it's usually in the frozen isle. Banana leaves not only holds it together but also allows the water to escape, whereas parchment will get all soaked. But alternatively, you could try to maybe bake it in the oven with parchment? It might get a little drier, but could work!
