I love the technical approach of your analysis and video. Very clear. I just ordered these clubs from Callaway. Moving from PXG 0311P and Apex 21. Need much more forgiveness. Thanks for confirming my decision.
Hi Joe! Thanks for watching and for the comment! I totally agree. I’ve not tested a Callaway club on my channel which I didn’t think was awesome. For some reason these days they aren’t getting the same love as TM or Titleist (in my opinion) and I don’t know why?!? All the best! 👍🏼
Hi Enfield Rider! Thanks for watching my video and I'm really glad you liked it! Personally I'm quite a low spin, low ball flight player so I need all the help I can get at the top of my bag so I always lean towards hybrids and fairway woods, however if you prefer longer irons and don't need as much height or spin as me then I definitely think its an option to consider the longer irons in this set! I would definitely consider the 5 iron and go from there! All the best! 👍
Hi you mentioned the weighting of the iron may have helped you get these results. Did you mean they were heavier or lighter than your t200 irons. Did the amount of offset hinder or help you.
Hi Mel! Thanks for watching my video! Apologies I should have been clearer, the head weight felt a lot heavier to me than my T200. Not in a bad way though - they felt great! I’m not someone who is overly put off by offset like some so it really didn’t bother me at all but I know some people can’t stand it! I don’t think it’s any worse than any other comparable game improvement iron - although some look less/more dependent on the finish on the irons. Hope that helps! 👍🏼
One of the issues I see all the time regarding strong lofted, forgiving irons is that because of the strong lofts they don't go high enough or spin enough to stop on the green. Is that the case with these? For example the Cobra Aerojet and Dark Speed have strong lofts and all the videos I watch on them is that they don'y launch high enough or spin enough to stop on the green. It seems you can't have both with these types of clubs but maybe that's not the case with the Big Bertha irons irons. Thanks!
Hi Richdiorio3650! That’s definitely something I see too with the Super Game Improvement irons… personally I was incredibly impressed with the launch and peak heights of the Big Bertha. I’m naturally quite a low ball flight players so I think as soon as something pops up I get quite excited by it! Obviously everyone swings it differently so I’d always recommend a fitting if you can to get the right option for you! Thanks for watching! All the best! 👍🏼
Hi Rich! Thanks for watching! I’ve got a video on my channel where I reviewed Paradym and Paradym X irons. Filmed on different days but they both contain baseline data against my own clubs so should help you to reach some good conclusions! My headlines from memory would be that the Big Bertha offer even more forgiveness and are even easier to hit but would be a set that a golfer with more natural speed or desires to get down to lower handicaps may grow out of slightly quicker than Paradym X but there’s not a lot in it for me! Hope that helps! 👍🏼
Hi Bill! Thanks for watching my video and for giving my channel a go! Sadly most manufacturers only provide the 7 iron for fitting and testing so that’s all I have access to! Hopefully if my channel continues to grow I might be one of the lucky ones who gets more sent to them by the manufacturers but for now please accept my apologies that this is all I can offer and I hope it’s still helpful! 👍🏼
Hi Kevin at 4:05 I put the shaft up on the screen for you. It’s the True Temper Elevate 85 in regular flex which is a stock steel shaft option! I hope that helps and thanks for watching and for your question! All the best! 👍🏼
No problem at all Kevin! It’s in small font so not to detract from the golf shot so an easy miss! 😂 If you end up watching any of my other videos I always put the shaft and ball I’ve used up in that corner just before the first shot! All the best pal! 👍🏼
Hi Robert! No these irons were just the regular Big Bertha irons, priced about £950 for a new set currently! I think the Great Big Bertha titanium ones they released were stupidly expensive (if I recall, over £3k!). Thanks for watching! 👍🏼
Hi Ecliqxse! If you’re still getting great performance out of your current ones then they might still be great for you! However if you think it’s time for an upgrade then I definitely think you’d enjoy testing these for sure! Just make sure you don’t get sold on distance alone as I’d imagine the 2006 version have weaker lofts so it would shock me if the new ones don’t go further but purely for that reason! Thanks for watching my video and for your comment! Best of luck and let me know how you get on! 👍🏼
Haha! I wish I could Zack but I only get to borrow them to test and film the videos! I don’t own them! However I’m sure your local fitting centre will be more than happy to help you try them out! Best of luck and thanks for watching my video! 👍🏼
Are these the best Big Bertha irons yet???

Hi Gort! Thank you for watching and for your kind words about my video! I’m really glad it’s helped! Enjoy your new clubs! 👍🏼
I’m not surprised! Calloway has great equipment!

Great video thank you. I'm going to get these irons. Would you get the 4 and 5 iron or opt for a 4 and 5 hybrid. Thinking of 6-PW. Tough decisions.

@@weekendtourpros Thanks for the quick response!
Went out to my local par 3 and stuck a few greens easily with these. Great ball spin
@Hazardguysgolf thanks for sharing your experiences! It really helps other golfers watching the video! 👍🏼
Great video. How do these compare to Paradigm X irons?

Good video, next review show me what the other clubs can do please.

Is this the Steel Shaft you tested in this iron?

OK, I don't know how I missed that I guess I was listening and not reading the screen. HA! @@weekendtourpros

Are these the ones made of Titanium? If so, they must be ridiculously priced!!

My irons is a 2006 big berthas super game improvement and i still playing them year 2023… maybe i could replace this ones

Look decent mate 👌.... Big bertha models are always good 👍
Hi Pete! Yeah I was really impressed! I think Callaway are doing a really good job all round at the moment! 👍🏼
i bought them sw-gw-aw-pw-4iron. They are a cheat code for poor ball strikers.
Hi Solo King! Totally agree! I loved them! Glad you’re enjoying them too! Thanks for watching and for your comment! 👍🏼
