It's good that obesity issue is already being talked about while the country is on it's way through the economic ladder, otherwise Philippines will become worse than the US in that regard. You go to the provinces and you will notice that most youngsters are still very slim and fit. I noticed this right away the last time I visited because I went directly to my home province

It depends where the foreigner is from. Because even in the warm parts of Spain in Europe they use umbrellas, and of course in East Asia/south Asia many places.
