      I went with the Ram Rebel! It has an amazing engine, massive and stylish interior, all the best tech and just plain Rebellious attitude that I LOVE!

      Yes ! Rebel "hybrid " with 5.7 L Hemi engine and 33' wheel is the best from my point of view: hobby car, expedition car and off-road car !

    Purchased my Power Wagon in April of 2019 and love it. The eight speed transmission is great and the lower gear reduction allows you to go about anywhere. The one I have has every option except the Ram Boxes which I wouldn’t want. I can’t believe the places it will go living in the Rockies and how smooth the ride is.

    Powerwagon for sure. Solid axle and a front locker make so much difference when things get rough

    I own a 19 Rebel and love it so much! Off roading is amazing. The interior is the best with that 12inch screen option is beautiful. And its hard to find rebels and power wagons on the road like u mention before

    Dont let the MPG determine your truck purchase. My 2020 Rebel I get 13.5 MPG in the city and around 19-20 hwy. I love the RamBox also, it comes with a cargo system for the bed, I would recommend it if you dont plan to haul a lot of things in the bed. There is only a 15hp and 25tq difference in power, the big difference is the 6.4 is more for towing and hauling, more torque lower in the band. Those numbers can be made up by adding a few bolt-on's to the 5.7

    • @TruckCentral
      @TruckCentral  4 года назад +2

      This is a very good comment. The only point worth adding is that the 6.4 is detuned vs other stock 392 Dodges and would have greater power gains than the 5.7 with equal mods. But you’re absolutely right, the latest 5.7 is very competitive with the 6.4 stock vs stock

    Got me a 2019 Ram Rebel ($60K fully loaded - down to $45K ) and just LOVE it! (The only real 👎is no 360° surround camera - an offroad must!) But I put on K&N filter, Diablo Sport Pulsar PCM, and a Carven muffler... that make my truck an absolute BEAST! And that new exhaust note... 😎👍

    For me and what I want in off-roading, the Power Wagon is not only the better choice, but the only choice offered by any manufacturer. The features that come equipped on the PW, are just plain better for off-roading than what any other manufacturer has to offer with both solid or IFS. The only item missing on the PW is taller tires.

    I’m wondering why they gave the Rebel a new cab and the Power Wagon still has the same cab and bed from the previous generation. The Rebel actually have a bigger interior than the Power Wagon.

    About the air suspension, it's probably going to require replacement far sooner than traditional shocks. It's not a knock against Ram, it's just that pretty much every single manufacturer has had issues with air shocks failing at around 60-100k miles. FCA (Ram and Jeep), Mercedes, GM, Volkswagen group, etc...

    I don't get Ram's thinking with the center console armrest pad. It is a petty complaint, I know, but why even have it. The pad is so far back it is useless for resting your right arm on and maintaining contact with the steering wheel.

    Power wagon no doubt !
    Getting a new ram truck summer / fall 2020.
    Researched both trucks in depth both optioned out & purchase cost.
    Power wagon will give me far better access to remote fishing / hunting places travelling over very rough country then a half ton.The standard winch can come in handy when needed.
    Power wagon's extra off road features cost reasonable. Not that much more money the the rebel.
    The 6.4 hemi sounds great !

      @pjasyl 4 года назад

      @@paladin11C40 Still intend to get a power wagon.However with the current situation put on hold for now.
      With all auto plants ceasing production it's most likely that shut down will last SOME time possible overlapping into the next model year.
      While in the states Ram offers are VERY TEMPTING , NOT so in Canada Ram offers far less , especially on the power wagon since it is a low production model , also dealerships here do not offer additional cash discounts .
      Will have to order power wagon regardless.If given option for a longer order wait for the optioned truck i want i will take it Even better increased discount especially if overlap into new model year.

    I want a PW but the 6.4L for the larger size doesn’t perform much better than the 5.7L. It’s numbers should be more significant (450hp & 475lbft torque minimum). Or the PW figure out how to get a Cummins in there. The pre 2014 models had the 5.7L and performed just as well as they had 4.56 gears (underpower overgear).

    • @freedomrider266
