Morrisey telling Judge Sommer that she thought that wearing gloves wasn't necessary. just shows her display of arrogance. and she should know that this is a criminal trial therefore handling of evidence is done by wearing gloves.
They had this whole debate on whether those rounds were evidence. I'm sorry but when they are reported to law enforcement, a prosecutor gets pictures taken of them, they are discussed with the investigator, the defense in another case is made aware of them, they are brought into the station, a statement is taken about them, that person says they are related to the case.... THATS EVIDENCE, no matter whether people have their own opinion of whether they are important or not.

Such corruption between the lead prosecutor and the sheriff’s office was just staggering. And the assistant prosecutor resigning in the middle of the trial was amazing.
I'm not a fan of Baldwin but his attorneys were brilliant. That's the judicial system working at its best. It just doesn't always work for everyone. I guess it just depends on who you are and how much money you have and that is a little scary.
As a filmmaker I wanted to hear all of the evidence before drawing any conclusion. What I can say now is that Judge Sommer is the BEST of the BEST for upholding the rule of law! Best judge no doubt.
You dont get to decide how important evidence is for opposing council. She didnt say a single thing about the evidence being turned over beyond that. Just yapped about what the defense said already and didn't address the issue lol
This prosecutor has been arrogant and unprofessional from the beginning. Stomping around the court like she runs the place. Along with Karen Read, there is a big question mark over prosecutors and their failure to seek truth and justice.
lol she’s getting hostile toward her own side. Then again, SFSO filed Teske’s rounds under a different case #, so I can’t blame her for being mad that the Sheriff’s office (especially Poppel) didn’t make this clear to her. Then again again, she also participated in the unilateral decision that this wasn’t evidence related to the Rust case which came back to bite her big time.
I am floored!!!! Witnesses, especially police et al testifying on the stand are meant to be neutral. Their goal is the truth, not to side with prosecution or defense. Having said that, I have never seen a witness such as crime scene investigator Popell be so blatantly sided with prosecution. " Can you restate your really long question" she says with attitude. I hope she loses her job for everything that was revealed about her and her work during this trial!
Another victim lost in the shameful mess of arrogance and ineptness on the part of the state's representatives. RIP Officer O'Keefe and Halyna Hutchins. 💔
What do you mean a victim lost? The person criminally responsible is currently serving a sentence for her crime. Great lawyering.
Same. I absolutely hate this dude and his beliefs, I am diametrically opposed to him politically. But I am also happy this trial was dismissed. I wanted to see him behind bars for his recklessness, but it has to be done properly and following the same legal protections the everyday citizen is given. Which also makes me wonder what will be done about this Special Prosecutor. After Day 2 I though tthe Prosecution had the defense on their back foot, but then we wake up with this craziness. She's originally a defense attorney so I know not much can be done, but considering she broke one of the biggest cardinal and ethical rules out there, there has to be punishment for what she did.

Even if it had blanks that is a big mess up. There was no direction at that time he was just practicing with it. It went off. Hannah’s trial went over - very detailed - how that gun has to have force on the trigger to go off. Someone pulled the trigger. Everyone in the church was supper supposed when they heard it because that was not suppose to happen at all.
@@britth5333 Yes that is true and he is going to pay for that mistake in his civil trials. I mean. Who really cares if he did 18 months in prison or not? Everyone is acting like he was on trial and was going to get 50 to life. By the way, can you believe that Kari tried to charge him with up to 5 years in prison and thought that everyone was going to forget that the incident happened before the changes in the maximum sentence for Involuntary Manslaughter involving a firearm in New Mexico went from 18 months max to 5 years?
That “CST” sure does have a nasty attitude. And I can’t figure out why. Edit: I’ve said several more times since writing that original sentence, “Boy, is she nasty!” She is showing blatantly obvious disdain for the defense attorney and it doesn’t make her look good.
Not just disdain for the defense but for the state’s obligation - and her own obligation to the people of New Mexico, as an integral part of the state’s investigation - to do a thorough job in presenting a clean case that the defense can’t utterly blow up. It’s an appalling failure of negligence, and that she’s so arrogant about the state (including herself) screwing this up so bad is appalling. Everyone’s calling for Morrissey’s head to roll as prosecutor. But she was a special prosecutor here; normally a defense attorney. Rather, I wonder what other cases Poppel has either willfully or mistakenly screwed up evidence on, and who’s been found guilty in NM and FL as a result of Poppel’s high horse mentality and disdain for her duties as an officer and key apparatus of the prosecution.
A quick note to that corrupt lying arrogant prosecutor: " You see that glow flashing in the corner of your eye? That's your career dissipation light. It just went into high gear."
I’m sure she had aspirations of higher office. My impression is that she hoped this case would have made those aspirations real. I believe that the state of New Mexico dodged a bullet.

What a great judge! Seeker of the truth.
This should of never gone to trial. Ridiculous waste of time and tax money for everyone involved.
100% AGREE!
As well as the emotional trauma to the families of both sides.
Morrisey telling Judge Sommer that she thought that wearing gloves wasn't necessary. just shows her display of arrogance. and she should know that this is a criminal trial therefore handling of evidence is done by wearing gloves.
Never seen the prosecuting DA have to take the stand. Wow.
She didn't *have* to, but she was trying desperately to save her neck. As the saying goes, she was hoist on her own petard and she knew it.
She didn't have to. The final four hours was her letting her ego and hubris get to her.
All this could be done outside of cameras and all she did was speed up this trial being dismissed while showing to the world how badly Hancock, the CST, and herself screwed this case up for the state.
This was a wild ride 😂 Defense was perfect, Judge made the right decision.
Im not a Baldwin fan but in this case the prosecution and investigator have done their job dirty and sneaky .
Unbelievable!
The State put that poor guy through Hell. I'm glad this travesty of justice has been rectified. The next Court TV broadcast should be the prosecution of the Prosecutor.
And the Lead Investigator and the CS Tech Popple.
No, then you wouldn't be better than her. She will now have to deal with herself.
That prosecutor sounds like she literally is making up the next sentence she's going to say while she's in the middle of the prior one. This is a great outcome. He should not have been on trial in the first place.
@@charlieseverson3534 great point. If her prints were on there it would have been another lie, since she said all she had seen was the picture of four of them. She needed to pick them up to cover her ass because she had obviously handled them before
An honourable judge indeed
She didn’t find this defence a push over like Hannah’s. I’m happy for him
The Prosecuter should be disbarred!!! Who makes her the Judge on what was relevant as evidence and then to hide it with another case number!!! And how many other cases did she do this to? IMO she lied on the Stand to the Judge. Hearing them all laugh in the room while not realizing there was a camera and discussing the case is so sad to me, knowing a Mother died on the set of Rust. The real person who should be behind bars is the one who brought in the live ammunition! This was a set up!!! This case should never to have gone to Court!
@@DebbieBreit Ding, ding, ding, we have a winner! You're right on the money: in how many other cases did this prosecutor hide evidence? Why didn't they investigate the source of the live ammo? She wasn't interested in the truth or justice for the victim.
What a smug prosecutor. You are fired!
Hannah’s lawyers are probably preparing her appeal right now.
You dont get to decide how important evidence is for opposing council. She didnt say a single thing about the evidence being turned over beyond that. Just yapped about what the defense said already and didn't address the issue lol
I don't think I've ever seen a judge step change hats and start asking questions. This trial is bizarre.
This Seth guy needs CLOSER inspection. I believe he is a major cog in the wheel from more powerful people that set Alec up to ruin him. JMHO.
Justice for Alec! Congrats 🤩🤩🤩🤩⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This Judge, Judge Werner, and Boones Judge deserve an award for their patience, dedication and knowing how to uphold the law ❤ God bless y’all.
This is what corruption actually looks like
The judge is LIVID especially after Mirissee finished with Poppel CST.
He should never had been charged. Hannah, yes. Alex, no
This prosecutor has been arrogant and unprofessional from the beginning. Stomping around the court like she runs the place.
Along with Karen Read, there is a big question mark over prosecutors and their failure to seek truth and justice.
The bullet came from seth. Hannah carelessly loaded it. Case closed.
Absolutely
Seth is soo slimy. He has really bad eyesight, and probably mixed real bullets with fake bullets
yep. Hannah's conviction should not be overturned. Seth should also be charged with negligence.

6:48:49 The prosecutor increasingly losing her mind with rage by this point was such a misguided tactic.
lol she’s getting hostile toward her own side.
Baldwin settled with the deceased's family in a way that they (not the court, as it was settled out of court) were satisfied met his civil responsibility as the producer. This case was never going to end in conviction. It was a wild goose chase from the start.
The feds have a LOT of info on O'Keefe's murder and who is actually responsible. Real justice is still possible
@@TheKrangledAlec did point the gun at her or in her direction and pulled the trigger - not sure his reason for that. Just wondering what you think about it. The other actors were very surprised he did that and no one was expecting it right then.
@@TheKrangledactually her family wants justice from all who were irresponsible and did not follow safety protocols. Alec is one of those people. Alex Spiro, defense attorney, has such piercing stare
@@ArcherGinger he set perfect traps. And when witnesses wouldn’t self-incriminate and evade with a “I don’t recall,” he retorts “do you deny it?” and they’re forced to admit “no.”
He also successfully gets witnesses to acknowledge they’d like to take back they’re mistaken and or misleading previous testimony.
Great lawyering.
I hate this dude and somehow I'm happy for him
Because you're an intelligent adult capable of separating your emotions from evidence and facts. That's a rare quality these days.

Good job judge, he should have not have been on trial. It wasn't his fault
So glad for Alec I knew he wasn't guilty.
He's neither guilty nor not guilty. The answer to that question will never be answered.
I think he does have some responsibility since he pulled the trigger. He denies pulling it but it was pulled while being pointed at 2 people when it wasn’t suppose to be and it fired.
Her smugness is so bizarre. It's like she thinks she's smarter than a Harvard lawyer who makes $2,000 an hour.
Never seen case dismissed this fast
A quick note to that corrupt lying arrogant prosecutor: " You see that glow flashing in the corner of your eye? That's your career dissipation light. It just went into high gear."
You left out A hole.

I’m sure she had aspirations of higher office. My impression is that she hoped this case would have made those aspirations real. I believe that the state of New Mexico dodged a bullet.
What a wild outcome
I just am wondering if any thing will happen to the attorney for the state? Will she get in any trouble I hope so
