The History of the Gun was destroyed how does the defense get that history back after the Procecution destroyed it?
I know Alec is innocent.
Well I know I'm not paying $1.99 to post my opinion in the chat. I can do it for free on most sites so.
Nobody cares... he's a disgusting pig!
Baldwin had his finger on the trigger when he pulled the gun from his holster.
Hannah looks like a lazy teenager, “I am the armorer, at least I was”. That’s a bit flippant sitting in the police officer car. Then at her trial tried to make her a knowledgeable lady. Whatever.
She is repulsive.
She was doing cocaine..Big factor..not paying attention and getting high receipe for a disaster.

@@chriswong9158 Halls was the head armorer and handed the gun to AB, did he double check? And yes she was cheap, but someone had to vet her and someone had to ignore complaints about her work. She ultimately did put the live round(s) in the gun. There were two. No need to be snotty and tell people to watch it again. Before this event, I didn’t know there were armorers on movie sets, I thought it was fake guns with firecrackers on the inside. It has been eye opening, albeit, useless knowledge I’ve gained.

Tip to Hollywood: There are thousands of highly trained armorers from our military vet pool. You want safety?
Be good for both sides
And if you look at all the modifications the film industry is doing to airsoft guns...incredible.....it might not be long before there's no use for a real firearm on sets.
I think the only problem they haven't tackled (aside from airsoft replicas of EVERY gun not being made yet) is casing ejection from auto/semiauto replicas. But they're getting believable "smoke" and "muzzle flash" already without needing CGI.
Wouldn't be surprised if there aren't already startups trying to develop that tech for film as we speak.
How true. My son is a “weapons specialist” in the Australian military (he has a different title but I’m not comfortable writing it), and I know how much he takes safety in his job seriously. He says the same as other people, especially in America. Weapons don’t kill people. People kill people.
@@pommiebears agreed. Actors are not the brightest bulbs in the socket… they act. Failure to hire a serious armorer landed this dim bulb in serious trouble. Minimum it’s involuntary manslaughter.
@@StarwaterCWS if the scene was to point gun to one head, would you believe Alex would not have "double check" the prop aka gun before using the said prop.
Smh…this was so preventable, and so many people failed to adhere to the most simple of safety rules. My heart goes out to Halyna’s loved ones.
Justice for Halyna and her family

And this means... to have Hanna tell the truth. Period.
It’s not the actors job to check, his job was to say his lines. The girl in charge of the gun should be charged…
@@Carter_4hamilton yeah but they said that specific scene didn’t need to have the trigger pulled. So why did he pull a trigger…I have pulled a trigger before on a revolver and let me just say it’s a lot of pressure on the finger

It’s a movie. Make believe.
Fake guns and dubbing should be the norm.
A senseless and completely avoidable tragedy.
Live rounds were on her cart but of course no one knows how they got there! 🤦🏻♀️
Live ammunition never needs to be on set, true.
Real firearms, tho, are a necessity until the VFX industry gets past a couple hurdles to eliminate that need.
I'd say 5 years or less there'll be no real guns in movies, but there'll be smoke, muzzle flash, and fake shells ejecting from modified airsoft guns without CGI. All they'll add in post is the sound of the gunfire, which they do already.
Dubbing?
@@annmoss2 dubbing is the technique of adding/replacing sounds during the editing process of a movie. Example: you've NEVER heard a real gunshot in a movie. They're all pre-recorded individual gunshot sounds that are added later. If they were real (and at real-world volumes), every movie gunshot would destroy the speakers in every movie theater.....along with your ears

My humble opinion , he definitely is another equally responsible party. He held and pulled trigger pointing directly straight at people in front of him, he was a producer who was okay with hiring the least experienced armorer on a gun heavy film, he was calling a lot of the shots and rushing scenes. He didn't address multiple complaints with safety on set and he was working with a gun provider whose storage system looked like something out of a hoarder's garage.
Industry standards may have made it impossible to prevent this accident sadly people in the industry didn’t care about human life.
You cannot say it was murder or intentional. It was whoever loaded the gun with a live round whether the person was "seasonal " or not. That was their job and they screwed up. This isn't like what happened on the Spielberg Twilight Zone. Everyone knew what was going to happen except the live round. I really feel for Alec Baldwin. 😢
@@whitefawn01there were liivc rounds in the holster he was wearing .
@whitefawn01, of course, it wasn't intentional. The first rule of gun safety is to never assume the gun is empty. And never point a weapon at something you don't intend on shooting. Whoever has the gun in their hand is 100% responsible for the actions of the gun.
@@whitefawn01Nobody says it was intentional. However, Baldwin created an unsafe atmosphere on the set by rushing people and ignoring basic safety. He did not check the gun he was handed to confirm it was "cold" which is standard industry practice. His negligence and carelessness contributed to causing the death of Hutchins and he is rightfully charged with involuntary manslaughter.
Hannah should have received a much longer sentence due to her unrepentant callous indifference regarding her gross negligence which contributed to Haylnas death

Trigger pull is the cause of death.

He didn’t do it on purpose. Baldwin might be a narcissist, but he’s not a murderer. BUT, his disregard for the safety of those around him, his arrogance and pushy nature, all had a role to play in the death of this poor woman, who leaves a husband and son behind.
I remember losing my brother when I was 8. I can’t imagine the hurt and pain her 10 year old son felt. I had so much to say to my brother but he was never going to listen to me again.

@@youtubegarbage7876 Ok
Brandon Lee
And who got prosecuted in that case!
It was not a bullet that killed Brandon Lee. It was the remnant of a dummy round, or something similar. Again, lack of respect for the guns, and safety.
This isn't very easy. If you're an actor, you're not thinking there is a live round in the gun. Alex didn't intend to kill this young woman. The issue is who had responsibility for that gun and what the policies are on set for safety for both actors and crew? There was a live round on set. How did that happen and what was done to prevent something like that from happening. Maybe they could have used guns that can't fire live rounds. Not sure if they exist. You can't use guns without there being safety protocols. Justice for Halyna Hutchins. By the way, who hired Hannah the purple and yellow hair Armorer, she looks as if she has no experience what-so-ever.
Gun Safety 101: "There's no such thing as a gun that isn't loaded." "Never point a gun at anybody you don't intend to shoot, and never shoot anybody you don't intend to kill." It's as basic as "Don't drink and drive." A drunk driver isn't INTENDING to kill anybody but we hold him responsible if he does because he did something inherently dangerous. Ditto with pointing a gun at somebody.
He just comes off as so arrogant and egotistical. Reflex alone he pulled the trigger. He acted sporadic.
That's what the prosecutor said too. Turns out the case was dropped and one of the prosecutors resigned.
He’s not responsible criminally. But because there is a life lost, he might be responsible morally. It is the armourer’s fault.
He is the one who ignored every rule of gun safety and fired the gun. How is he not at fault?
No his fault gun was in his hand and he didn't check it I don't care if God himself said it's cold it your responsibility to check it
When a person causes a death accidently from neglect, they are criminally responsible. Thus the filing of charges.
Who would ever take a firearm from someone and not clear it themselves? That is basic safety.

He was saying that the prosecutors are going to try to show that he couldn't careless.
It's true, he doesn't care about anyone but himself. He mistreats people because he thinks he is so much better than them.
What about that would be ridiculous, in your opinion? Put yourself in the perspective of a potential jury member: Is it appropriate timing for a defendant, such as Baldwin, to act like it's business as usual and go ahead with a REALITY TV SHOW about his life, of all things? And he's doing it with a smile on his face, to boot.
He certainly comes off that way Christine. Who on earth can think about filming a reality TV series with this hanging over their head? Serious question. I'm going to just assume, he ain't doing for the money.
I don't understand why the judge has ruled against Baldwin being labeled as producer? It was Alec Baldwin (producer) that gave the orders. It was Alec Baldwin (producer) that violated safety mandates. It was Alec Baldwin (producer) that fired the lethal bullet.
I never saw Alec cry about what he had done.
I’m sure there’s been a lot of that. Just not in front of a camera.
Guns are not to be treated as props under any circumstances. Alec pointed and pulled the trigger even though he knew better.
Yes. He damned-well did know better. He's been in the industry for years, and played in plenty of movies where he had/used a gun.
Always treat every firearm as if it's loaded. Never point a firearm at a person or thing unless you're willing to destroy it. Firearms 101
Alec Baldwin does not strike me as the most well balanced individual 😅
Would you be if you had 7 little kids and you were 66 years old? His wife is an idiot by having all those kids with a old man. Nannies or not.
He's a loose cannon!!!
Baldwin is a type a personality a little tightly wound, but that doesn’t mean that if he was handed a gun that he was told was safe that it’s his fault. The armor loaded the gun and the assistant Director handed him the gun declaring it safe. He was very upset. How would you like this to happen to you? That being said someone died at two people were in line. He said the gun was safe. Hall should have been charged also. The armor being on drugs certainly was not helpful.

How does a show like The Walking Dead use real weapons and have hundreds of thousands if not millions of shots fired over the life of the series by dozens and dozens of different people, and never have such an accident?
I liked the perspective of the firearm expert at the end: If Baldwin was doing a scene where he was to act out his own suicide he surely would’ve checked the gun and checked it twice. He didn’t respect the people around him as much.
The gun had real bullets in it but he didn't fire the gun with that knowledge, similar to someone who purchases a stolen object without knowing that it was stolen. There is no criminal intent in either of these situations. You can't turn this into a circumstantial case, either. No criminal intent, criminal negligence, or involuntary manslaughter.
Hannah didn’t hand him the gun. He was supposed to check the gun himself as well so yes, he’s absolutely at fault.
The law doesn't change because you're on a set...if he handles a real firearm he is responsible as anyone else who handles one.
Intention doesn't protect you criminally that's why people get charged for vehicular manslaughter. They didnt intend to kill someone with their car but if they did they could be charged criminally.

Gun Safety 101 is that you NEVER point a functioning firearm at anybody you don't intend to kill. He was on enough movie sets with guns that he got that training. They teach you "There's no such thing as a gun that isn't loaded." This. It wasn't his responsibility to check if the ammo was live or not this is why they have an armorer for this very specific reason whose sole responsibility was to manage the firearms on set. Live ammunition should have never been introduced on the set in the first place. The person who should have provided oversight to the armorer was Dave Hall who took a plea deal while being able to tell multiple different versions of his story.
@@suziq900 Totally agree. Everyone on set has a role to play. There was no intent for anyone to be harmed. Dave Halls has been slippery in his recollection, and he’s probably the most culpable on that set. He was supposed to watch HG check the gun and check himself. Aside, in all the gun movies George Clooney was in, did he stop, take bullets out of gun, check them all, then put them back in? Absolutely not. His stupid ass statement right after the tragedy really spun people up. Shame on him too.
Gun Safety 101. If God Almighty tells you the gun isn't load you still treat it as if it is. You treat EVERY functional firearm as if it's lethal. Full stop. Pointing a gun at somebody is every bit as reckless and inexcusable as driving drunk.
@@thesisypheanjournal1271 1000%. Also you don't point it at anyone, unless you are reckless.
However, he was never supposed to point the gun at people and pull the trigger, which he did.
I watched the part were the actors guild claims actors are not responsible for safety on sets .....I disagree...if an actor handles a real firearm they are absolutely responsible for handling that weapon, the law does not change because you're on a set.
Great documentary!!! Bravo. Such an all around tragedy.
He absolutely is not responsible for in this. This is just about money.
LOL, you're a lost soul and a clueless one too. The money part has already been handled.
LMAO sure Alec.
Gun Safety 101: "There's no such thing as a gun that isn't loaded." You treat every operational firearm as if it's lethal. Full stop. There's never a legitimate reason to deviate from that. He was being just as irresponsible as if he was driving drunk.
This is a criminal case, not a civil case. It has nothing to do with money.
Since this happened, Alec has only cared and worried about himself. A true monster.
The TLC new reality show he s doing proves it .
Can you understand that he was tricked... THAT IS A TERRIBLE FEELING.
AND this lousy investigation did not find WHO PUT five LIVE BULLETS "mixed among the others"!!
THIS INTENTIONAL CRIMINAL is still out there... and he/she might be laughing at what he/she did.
😥😥😥
Who else should he be Worrying about
What is truly shocking was the fact that both the ground paramedics & the RN/flight medic team both attempted to insert an endotracheal tube & did not recognize that it was not placed in the trachea but was misplaced in the esophagus. So instead of ventilating the lungs with oxygen, she was getting NO/ZERO oxygen. But for these mistakes Ms. Hutchins might have survived. It’s pretty unbelievable that in 2021 prehospital providers could make a fatal mistake like this.
it's doubtful she would have survived. Do some research. This mistake is actually not that uncommon.
@@Kay__Tee 32 years of prehospital experience, hundreds of intubations, ground & helicopter and I’ve never taken a patient to the hospital with a tube in the esophagus. How many tubes have you dropped?
@@Murgatroyd999 lol good for you. that's anecdotal. Just because you havent doent mean its not uncommon.
@@Murgatroyd999just out of curiosity, where do you work? Australia or the UK?
It’s crazy how court cases have commercials and trailers now…
"if it was a suicide scene" Alec Baldwin would of slowed down to triple check the gun. That was a great example.
Alec is a liar, a total jerk and don't give a darn about anyone but himself.
None of that matters in this case, seriously. I'm no fan of his, but the way he is has no bearing in this trial. The only thing I see that matters is that he alone aimed a firearm at a person and pulled the trigger without safety checking that firearm. It was obviously a horrendous and tragic accident, but that doesn't change the facts as they are presented so far in the media. He's guilty
And you know him…how? Reality TV? 😂🤢
Yes Alec Baldwin is known to be a jerk in the past. Whether Alec Baldwin is a lair or not, he is part responsible for the Rust Shooting because he was holding the gun and pulled or touched the trigger for it to go off and Hannah the Armourer was more responsible for the shooting too and in prison now.
@@l.t.8472 pullease! Don’t let MSM tell you what to believe. THINK
@@rule19org If Alec Baldwin reality show is a go that would be stupid.
I am hoping that the Family Of Halyna Hutchins Can Get Justice and will be able to rest in peace. Rest In Peace Halyna ❤❤❤
The question- who put live bullets in the gun?
Looks like it could have been a great movie.
I just want to know who put the bullet in??. I pray the truth will be revealed. Praying 🙏🏻
Not sure but Sarah Zachary emptied the gun (on instructions from Seth Kenny) right after the shooting and discarded the bullets. She was granted total immunity and did not even get a tampering with evidence charge.
@yolandagofigure, that's the 64 million dollar question right now. Even if they find out who it was, and I hope they will....Baldwin aimed a firearm at a human being and pulled the trigger. He's guilty
@@yolandagofigure hannah gutierrez was convicted of involuntary manslaughter for loading the live round into the gun
Hannah gutierrez reed
@@Friendofstfrank To be fair, that was Ackles' gun, not the Baldwin gun. Zachry is culpable but not for that.
I can't wait!
Rot in jail hanna
Now I can not make my words right 😂I’m a big man with a small phone but this channel refuses to let me comment or spell the words again
I dont care who you are. You go waving a gun around and pointing it at people as you talk. Im telling him to stop. Especially if im one of tbise people. Thats willingly. Knowingly. Recklessly. Elements of every crime.
Of course this was 100% an accident, that's never even been in question in my mind. That said, Baldwin aimed the firearm at a person and pulled the trigger. Therefore, Baldwin is responsible for the death of Halyna, period. Scott Rasmussen in this program said it better than anyone else I've heard so far. (I'm totally paraphrasing here) >>>>>If Baldwin's scene in this movie was him committing su*c*de by firearm you can bet your last dollar that he himself would have double and triple checked that firearm before the scene went live, 100%
No surprise the cart was 'un-maned' ... the armourer position was a half time position along with props master. Not usual. Another sign this was a no budget squeeze. Again this is on Baldwin. But he didn't pull the trigger - sure!
He’s just totally mixed up in his value system. You don’t kill someone, accident or not, and two weeks later, celebrate Halloween.
he's a sick man, he has a reputation from way back of being am abuser and a bully
I agree. There’s a disconnect
At the VERY least, it's involuntary manslaughter.
He has children!!!!
Ya but did he have to dress up as a cowboy? Jk@@withgoddess1119
