  • not only does the film The Taste of Things (2023) look absolutely beautiful, it also makes you reconsider the extravagant (and often shallow) portrayal of love that currently exists in modern dating and relationships
(this film will also make you hungry).

Thanks for watching! 😁 I really recommend watching The Taste of Things - it's so much deeper and has more complex themes than a 8 min video can relate 👌
If you like the quiet profundity of Wim Wenders' Perfect Days (2023) or the rustic, European atmosphere and hidden themes of Alice Rohrwacher's La Chimera (2023), then you'll likely love this film too

Great video! I'm trying to foster this kind of relationship where it comes organically and slower but my Gen Z brain is struggling, thanks for the reminder to slow down!

Thank you! And I'm the same, I think we all need a reminder to slow down and really consider what's important in life + relationships 🤗

Thanks, can't believe this is my first film with her in it. I heard Chocolat is a great movie too, so I think that will be on the watch list! Have a good weekend! 👌

You may want to check out Blue, as well. It is A grief narrative. Just putting that out there, in case you need to be in the mood to watch films on that subject. I have to be in a certain mood, but I know other people who can watch films with that theme any time.

You can rent the film on AppleTv or Prime video, though you could sail the seven seas for it as well 🦜 ⛵ (not condoning, just saying you can lol)
