I normally would be pissed at last minute twists that didn’t earn the surprise ending but this twist is so simultaneously insane and original (but also dumb) that I’m almost impressed. Cheers to the filmmakers who managed the impossible: they’re both genius and brain-dead at the same time.
From the way its explained in this video she was minding her own business. It was them always fukkin with her. Like when the wife texted her wanting to go to the gym together, the wife texted her first. All she did was agree to go, which she assumed wouldn’t be a problem. Its not her fault she isn’t pessimistic about everything or doesn’t have the ability to see the future

WOW...what a crazy ending. Poor kid lost his mom and no one will ever believe him once he truly figures it out

So you definitely knew she was up to something and could figure out that she were going to switch with Louise. But I did not see the big twist coming ....................😮😱😭 But after watching this recap when you notice Adele's drug use I should have known. Adel were never really a drug user. She only smoke pot with Rob.

I think David attributes it to ongoing guilt over her parents death, what happened when she was alone doing drugs with Rob, and more recently David's wandering eyes. Throwing David's watch down the well locked him in because only Adele (Rob) knew when he stole money from his sister where he was headed. If David went to the constable now he's being looked at as a multiple murderer cause they investigated him for the fire. But nobody knew Rob was there so why bring trouble? But once the drug use resumes in addition to quirks, comments, past life things Louise (Rob) is bound to start unconsciously doing once they are comfortable, David is going to think he's losing his mind. I think the son is safe except he'll be neglected until he can really push to live with his dad. Rob only has obsessive affection for David, bed time stories and playing in the park are gone.
Unfortunately she doesn't realize it's Rob in the body, those are the missing journal pages, what happened after he becomes curious about being in a woman's body. Even though the journal tells of his admiration and covetousness of David and Adeles lives only movie watchers see the direction it goes.
As someone who has delt with many psychotherapist, this guy is most certainly not any type of therapist. I'm just waiting for him to say, "I lied, I'm just a rich idiot"

I absolutely loved this miniseries! I usually can guess a twist bout 90% of the time, and the rest I can usually get pretty close. But this one threw me off so good- off the rails in a completely crazy direction I couldn't even imagine! I loved it!

I think David attributes it to ongoing guilt over her parents death, what happened when she was alone doing drugs with Rob, and more recently David's wandering eyes. Throwing David's watch down the well locked him in because only Adele (Rob) knew when he stole money from his sister where he was headed. If David went to the constable now he's being looked at as a multiple murderer cause they investigated him for the fire. But nobody knew Rob was there so why bring trouble?
But once the drug use resumes in addition to quirks, comments, past life things Louise (Rob) is bound to start unconsciously doing once they are comfortable, David is going to think he's losing his mind.
I think the son is safe except he'll be neglected until he can really push to live with his dad. Rob only has obsessive affection for David, bed time stories and playing in the park are gone.
I would have preferred an ending where Louise put everything together, didn't try to astral project, and Rob just died in the house...
Unfortunately she doesn't realize it's Rob in the body, those are the missing journal pages, what happened after he becomes curious about being in a woman's body. Even though the journal tells of his admiration and covetousness of David and Adeles lives only movie watchers see the direction it goes.

He's a monster. I'm a firm believer that you should NEVER keep anyone around that wants your life or anything or anyone in it. If you can't escape them completely if you're related to them just keep them at a distance as much you can. But keeping jealous ppl too close is dangerous you don't know what ppl are capable of when they become too envious. This also shows how David is still a shitty husband despite the fact that Adele is dead apparently if her personality changed he would rather cheat on her a million times than leave her. He's trash too.
Frenemy. Gaslighter extraordinaire! To think I felt bad for him, thinking he had come to an untimely end and was the only person helping Adele get through. I was 150% ready to throw Adele under the bus, then come to find out, guess who's driving.
I have to say kudos, to the writers, they had me at Louise and David meeting. I thought Louise was causing contention. No one has clean hands in this tale.

It’s evident by the end scene, the amount of times david acknowledges and looks at Adam compared to Rob shows how much he is not gonna care for that kid at all and sees him as another thing that will take david away from him with the menacing glance rob gives Adam while stating “maybe I’ve changed..”
Rob is on his 2nd female body because it was Adele who taught him how to project. He goes over it the journal "Adele" gave Louise. I think the real Adele thought it could be a way to help him stop drug use if he could get away from his sucky life when he wanted to.
He learnt it from Adele which the narrator neglected to say directly so that’s when it started

I don’t think you have to put a point on it. Rob hates what he is and is envious of others. If he could’ve taken over David’s body and been with Adele he would’ve but David never would’ve been open to the astral projection thing. He moved on to plan B.
