- Jan Michael Vincent interviewed by Paul Rodriguez on The Late Show in 1987. The Late Show talk show aired on FOX, but I found no mention of Rodriquez being a permanent host.
Cheech Marin is also here. All three are in the film BORN in EAST L.A.. Everyone is having a great time during the interview and toward the end Jan-Michael Vincent joins the band, plays bass and sings NYQUIL BLUES.
Good stuff ! I only wish the quality was better!
Being a fan of AIRWOLF at the time ( and still am today) back then I would tape just about everything related to the show.
The source is a copy AND is from a 25 year old VHS tape.
I apologize for the quality. It was a VCR's tracking nightmare and I've done the best I could.
I hope the fans enjoy this !! Mr. Vincent seems to be having a great time here.
He was a real movie star. He had everything - the talent, looks, charisma and magnetism. Such a tragedy what happened, but we all have our demons.

Tragedy?... He was a narcissistic booze head that nobody in the industry in the end wanted to work with. Even on B film shoots he was drunk and forgot his lines constantly and tried to blame the production. His head was so far up his own rear end at that time i read, that he couldn't be even bothered to go see his children.
Never the less. He was an adult and he made his own choices throughout the decades! There is nothing tragic about this at all. It is reality what happens when you don't seek help or even want it, but allow your demons to run and ruin you and your loved ones lives.
Because let's get real. Addiction does not just affect one person.
Lets just hope that everyone is at peace now. And RIP JMV.

Thanks for posting..... he still looks great here and sweet as well. An absolute hunk.. can’t forget him. I don’t see a lot of interviews with him, during his prime... I wish it can be posted..he was still beautiful man when he retired...I will always remember him for all the wonderful films he left us.........He’s the BEST

@@andarporbuenosaires IMHO, Brad Pitt was the new Robert Redford. JMV was a little older but more of a rival to an actor like Tom Cruise - a handsome action hero.

Had no idea he was a musician.
Too much fast fame and success can destroy anyone, once the drugs get you reality is gone.
Also, who knows what kind of abuse he had to put up with in Hollywood and the producers. He had been acting since he was young and his outstanding looks surely attracted some weirdos. JMV probably was self-medicating with the booze and drugs.
