  • Costa Rica has 2 main seasons, and both can be intense. It's good to know when the seasons are and how they'll affect your life, so you can better plan your life.
For example, if you are doing serious renovations on your home, it's a good idea to complete as much as possible in the dry season (something I learned the hard way, when I decided to have some roofing work done in October).

Scheduled to get there second week in December so it should be plenty of green. Wouldn't mind being in a Costa Rican rain storm while there.

We will be traveling to Costa Rica in May. We will arrive in San José on 03 May. From a weather perspective, would you consider visiting the Caribbean coast first (Tortugero, Puerto Viejo) or better the Pacific coast (Montezuma, Manuel Antonio). We have four weeks to travel. Pura Vida!

Thank you! I would like 6o know where you are located. My understanding is that there are many micro climates in Costa Rica, and I wonder if it could be different in different parts of the country.

Why not grow some bamboo in Costa Rica. Can build some nice homes and furnitures with it, and best of all, you can build a structure with bamboo without using nails.

    Hello
We found you on RUclips and watch you videos. Thank you we’ve really found them helpful.
Are you in Costa Rica right now?
We arrive on Wednesday 22nd (wife and 2 kids and myself) but weather looks really overcast and very rainy. Is this normal or excessive? Or does it look worse than it is? Really worried because we have so much planned activities outdoors with the kids like snorkelling and sailing.
    Kindest regards
