Wrong. The GXP weighed 2960 pounds. Weight on the front axle was 1600 and 1360 on the rear. That is 54% front and 46% rear.
The LS7 car weighed 3100 pounds. Weight on the front axle was 1620, with 1480 at the rear. That is 52% front and 48% rear.

I remember hearing this Car and the Corvette share the same Chassis, so I'm not surprised this conversion was done. Maybe if they actually produced this version Pontiac would still be around instead of Buick? The only reason Buick is still around is Because the Chinese love there Ugly little cars ?????
Wrong. Solstice and Sky were built on the Kappa platform in Wilmington DE. Completely different platform from the Corvette. Google is your friend.
+Jeff Tyler corvette and solstice, same chassis.
I thought it was that the front end shared a very similar design with the 5th gen Camaro, but I could be wrong
I want torque! : )
I have a 07 Saturn sky I want to ls3 swap how much is a ball park number to have it done
This company no longer does them but at the time it was around $25,000 for parts and labor and included a new stronger diff
@@rickcperry thank you
430 RWHP? The LS3 stock makes 360-368 RWHP. Oh wait, I hear the cams. That's about 40-45 RWHP there, and maybe a CAI plus tune. But still, this makes the car weigh 40-70 lbs more then a vette so why not buy a vette .
Because a Solstice with an LS3 will turn twice as many heads as a dime-a-dozen Corvette, and I'd wager that the average Solstice owner is 40-70 lbs lighter than the average Corvette driver, so it's a wash really. :)
Its not a DOHC, there is only one "cam". Not "camS".
Michael Harris you know nothing about the ls engine go home 360 to 380 is when they first came out in 1997 the turbo 4 banger Is capable of 500 plus take your mustang somewhere else probably with a tow truck would be faster
Lol, the engine costs more than the car!
Remember the line from gumball rally, “what’s behind me is not important.”
For some reason that engine sounds better in a Corvette than it does in this car
Holy snikeys....
ese es mi carro
Where is the 1000 like button
I know i would never bring a car to him now
I hope whoever racist this car have enough toilet paper with him, because that car is the SHIT
Pontiac was always known for building sweet cars with NO power....could not even bring back the famous Buick V6 turbo...
Yeah and my 400 hp 06 GTO smokes about 95% of the cars on the road. You know the 89 TTA HAD an upgraded 3.8L Buick turbo that was used on the GNX. It even unseated the Corvette for the fastest GM car of that year.
Lol lets talk tires
And that’s just at idle! The LS 5.3 would have fit better and been able to put the power to the road.
You do know there's no physical difference in the LS3 and the 5.3, so it would fit exactly like this engine does.
😂 speed demon
Jazz
GM are idiots for never thinking to do this...
Conversion conversation. Just don't buy THIS car.
Why make something nice just to dog it out ? Unworthy creator
As said in the comments before, It's a prototype kit and has to be tested to the point of failure so that those issues can be corrected before going to market.
How much would this cost?
That company doesn't do them anymore but it's around $25,000 including a new engine and transmission.
How much does it cost to do this
