Lovely looking watch, my only issue being a vintage watch lover is that the brand name is huge compared to the 1950’s Tissot with the same font but they all do it, even Patek, I guess we live in a brand name world and I’m not that sort of person being older! But having said that it really is a gorgeous watch and a great price for what your getting.
Nice relaxed review. Thanks. ive just bought the quartz version with the tan strap and white face. I might swap out the strap to a mesh with a buckle and swap out the buckle too.

Good review. Just bought the same. Agreed the glare is much more manageable on the white dial and mesh bracelet is tops. First week of wearing scuffed the polished lugs, whacked the corner of a marble counter top. Felt like a knife to the heart.
Oh that's horrible, locally I have a small independent Jewellery store, he was kind enough to polish a scuff for very little money, also I polished a scratch with Cape Cod cloths it took some hours but totally clean now. Thanks for ur comments
Unfortunately I dont know the seiko, but having looked at a Seiko presage, the seiko bracelet is half the quality as the tissot, the tissot has sapphire glass and in my opinion the tissot movement is nicer to look at, having said this , its purely my opinion and you may disagree. Hope this helps.
Sadly I dont know my wrist size but the mesh bracelet can be adjusted to any size and the watch is not huge so fits very well, thanks for ur kind words
@@moorwatch9654 hi unfortunately I don't have the watch now, however when I brought it I was told it has powermatic 80, it certainly is an eta however eta is owned by the Swatch group ,who in turn owns Tissot therefore I believe powermatic is made by eta, I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure this is the case
@@Alwaysontime-dh1gz Sometimes it is really hard to find information on the subject of dials. Manufacturers selden release information like that. The way you discribe it could be either a enamel, mother of pearl or a painted one. The first 2 processes are very coloration proof over the years, while the painted ones tend to shift color over time.
It's frustrating however I genuinely think it's worth it, have you looked at the new Seiko 5 bezeless watches I just got one on a nato in grey it's superb and only £230 I will review it soon

Yh, I was really interested in the watch a couple years ago but never went for it in the end, now I’m really worried I should have because I think back then I could find it for 395 but now tissot are listing it for a lot more. I’m thinking, “How has it increased in price!?”

Reasons to prefer this one over Seiko SARB033/035?

Great watch, but no luminous hands, so can’t be seen in the dark. That’s why mine is back in the safe !
This watch is £560 everywhere now. Pretty steep increase. Feel like I chose the wrong time to start enjoying watches.

How does it run? Accuracy?
Unfortunately I don't have the watch anymore, however while I did it run pretty well, typical accuracy of an auto, within 30 second per day average
